Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Monday July 9

Well, I didn't do the TT. It was SO windy. DH said I would be nuts to try it tonight b/c he knew I wouldn't be able to breathe (read: I don't want to hear you complain about it! :p ). Nah, he said he wouldn't ride in that wind. So it's Cardio Coach for me.

Dallys - WHAT A CRASH at the Tour de France today! Wow! So many guys look hurt. I hope they're not hurt so bad that they have to go home. What a bummer that was. Sheesh! How'd you like to be the guy who caused that one b/c they sure replayed it and pointed him out. Yikes! I would feel so awful!

Randi - I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. :(

Diane Sue - That's a nice picture of you on Bill's avatar. :)

Checking to see what everyone is doing. I have been battling my printer and trying to do pictures from the campout. Had to change ink and it got out of align or something. Now one of the printer programs I like won't work. I gave up till tomorrow. It is raining again. I guess two days of sun was to much.

Lora, I really do not know how much sugar is in a piece of fruit. I would imagine it depends on which fruit it is. I know most competition diets leave it out. Usually training diets use mostly berries and apples or grapefruit in them. Most animal sources of protein are complete ones as well as dairy sources. The thing with the egg whites is there is practically no fat with an excellent source of protein. Most lowfat cheese will have fats and some cholestral in them. I have eaten tofu in couple of recipes. The recipes were good but the leftover tofu sat in the refrigerator till I threw it out. Have you tried soy sausage? I have eaten the patties on a piece of Ezekial bread or half of an whole grain english muffin.

Suz, sounds like CC was the best thing to do:)
