Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for July 11 Wednesday

Suz-If you got the worms one, you would NOT forget it EVER EVER! I did get the blue pants one. LOL!

Lora-(and anyone else who is interested)- Here is the link for a "Turbulence Training-12 weeks of fat loss" rotation. You have to click on "Attached files" and you need Adobe Reader to download it. It's fairly big, 18 pages.

Here is one of Alwyn Cosgroves "no equipment no problem" rotations. It looks like it uses dumbells only and a step and is not a circuit. 12 week program-12 pages.

Dallys - thanks for the info, but when I click on the thread, I get a registration page and I signed up for it and I still can't view the PDF. Not sure what the problem is.

Dallys - it's [email protected] thanks so much for trying to figure it out. Those are very expensive books. thanks again. Also, I'm trying to remember how long you did those NROL book workouts. If my memory serves me correctly, didn't you only do them briefly? Did you get injured or something? I can't remember.....but I don't remember you doing them for long...and I was just wondering why. I was also thinking that at the beginning of these Jillian Circuits...you said you'd probably only stick to it a couple of weeks and look at you!! 7-8 weeks!! wow!! I bet you look awesome. I'm already sore from my AM workout.. Loving these circuits. THanks again for telling me about them.

Lora- I sent it to you. Let me know if you get it.
I actually started doing the NROL because I was all of the sudden getting all these injuries- tennis elbow, hip, shoulder, neck, you name it, I couldn't get out of bed without hurting myself. LOL!. So I started from scratch with the "Break in" workouts which were fairly easy and then moved up to "Fatloss 1" and then I did Part of "Fatloss 2" and these were getting much harder, "fatloss 3 looked killer!}( But, I felt like I needed a break and stopped for awhile. So, it was about 10 weeks of NROL. NROL really helped re-condition my body and I stopped getting injuries. The workouts are so well planned out and the selection of exercises always prepare you for the the next phase of exercises as they get more difficult. With Jillians, remember, I am not doubleing weeks, so I have really only done 4-5 weeks total. Jillians are similar to NROL as it gets more difficult as the weeks go by. I love that! Now, if I had consistantly eaten a nice clean diet, I'd look like I'd done all those workouts! Oy! Diet is the hard part for me and where my problem is. :( Mt. Bikeing has somewhat messed up both of these rotations at times. It's hard on my body to do it all.

There's my novel for the day.:D

This is a late check in. I ended up with a hot tub repairman here then I took the grandchildren to the library to get their certificates they earned and to get hamburgers with the coupons and then to the park. We were swamped with ducks after our food. One of my granddaughters stood on the table trying afraid of them. One nudged my other granddaughter trying to get her attention. One came at me and I told it I had dogs and it left LOL. No ducks on the playground though.
Workout was 5-1/2 miles on the treadmill, abs from KPC and LIC adding extra resistance. I followed this with 2 sets each hanging leg raises with shoe weights 10 reps, kneeling cable crunches on the Bowflex 20 reps 100#, 5 banana holds with shoe weights and holding a 10# med ball at chest for 30 seconds, I finished with Yoga Shatki lunge and shoulder openers.

Anne, that salad e mail you sent has me looking at the salad closely LOL Makes me think about the green beans on the news with the snake head canned into them.

Charlotte, yuck on the fried hotdogs. That makes them even more unappealing.

Suz, I haven't forgotten about the salad recipes and ideas. I will get them to you. I ate the spinach strawberry one again yesterday. There is a new one I want to try out of the new Oxygen. I will not use canned corn in it though.

Diane Sue - I always loved the reading program at the library when I was a kid. How fun that your grandkids got certificates and coupons. The ducks at the park sound like they were starving. Great workout today and awesome ab workout!

Yeah, can you believe those little froggies lived in that bag of salad? How strange?

I have to try to figure out my old HR monitor and all of its capabilities. Apparently it is all set up for using on a bike - can do speed, distance, blah, blah, blah, but all I've ever used it for was HR b/c I had another computer on my bike for all the other stuff. Well, now that one won't work on my new bike. So I have to actually sit here and READ the manual! I suck at that. That's why I'm typing to you all instead of reading. :p
