Morning Diane Sue and all that follow.
I am off to a make up day. Garandson wouldn't let me w/o last night so today is PLB and 1 hour on the treadmill. I think i will do the interval program.Gotta get the cardio in . Been slackin on it lately.

My arms are still killing me from PUB. Haven't done it in a couple months and oh my. I feel like a bus hit me.Serious DOMS.

Today is the beginning of phase 2 of my P90X rotation. I think it's Chest Shoulders Tri's. I'll also do some cardio, maybe the new CC#2. on the Stationary Bike.

Good Morning Diane Sue, Anne and Dallys,

This morning I did P90x Chest and Back-and Allstep. I like doing the pullups because I bought a pullup bar with an added assist-so you can make pullups easy, or not so easy and you can release the assist and do them on your own. (which I have not done!!)

Good morning Maniacs!!!
Today is legs and abs at the gym. No cardio today. This morning I already did abs from SJP and KPC. Will do much more later.

Anne- PUB is a killer ha!?!?!?! Never done it (don't own it) but my mom did it on Fit TV once before. She said her biceps were litterally dead the next day}( Have a great workout!

Diane Sue- Hope you have a nice visit with your grandkids!

Felt good to get back in my weight room. Four days off seemed like four years! I am starting another 8 week program doing full body workouts but using the pyramid method. Felt great and I hope I'm sore tomorrow. This is what I did:

3 sets each exercise/60 second rest:

Dumbbell Chest Press: 25's/18 reps; 30's/14 reps; 35's/10 reps
Bent Over Barbell Overhand Rows: 35#/18 reps; 45#/14 reps; 55#/10 reps
Plie Squats: 65#/18 reps; 75# 14 reps; 85#/10 reps
Standing Dumbbell Bicep Curls: 15's/18 reps; 20's/14 reps; 25's/9 reps
Standing Shoulder Press: 12's/18 reps; 15's 14 reps; 20's/9 reps
Overhead Dumbbell Tricep Extension: 25#/18 reps; 30#/14 reps; 35#/10 reps
Calf Raises: 2 sets/70# - Just did these until my calves couldn't do anymore.

This workout too 50 minutes and I burned 242 calories!

Got on my treadmill for about 25 minutes. Total calories burned was 425 and I was in my zone for 1 hr. 3 min. Total workout took 1 hr. 24 min.

Going to Dick's to get more weights! :)

Good morning, Fitstresses! Had a nice, extended home cardio and weight-lifting session for all muscle groups this a.m., and it feels good to be back to my normal routine after racking my foot last week.

Great workout! Lot of calories burned too! WOO HOO! Can't wait to try it with ya, but I am behind as I still have total body to complete. Will start week 5 Monday.

Afraid I haven't rested much today either. Moving stuff out of the house that we no longer need into truck. So far got rid of sewing machine, desk, children's old toys, hats and a tiller.

Well , I am officially beat.
Everything hurts.
Did PLB and 2 seg ab hits and 40 min on the treadmill.
It is funny. I was ready to quit in 20 , then like your legs get numb.
I did intervals . warm up 3.5 then 4 mph to 7 mph, let it down and back up.
My fricken biceps are still sore. I have done nothing since today. Resting and watching a couple movies ...
I feel like a bus hit me....
Going to bed early and going to try some cardio in the am.

Hey Maniacs!!!
I was SUPER tired today}( After the gym I came right home and jumped into bed and feel asleep. I was up real late last night moving, and woke up pretty early this morning. At the gym today I did legs and abs. My workout only lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes. I lowered a lot of my weights adn added a few more reps for legs cuz I don't wanna relaly bulk em up like my upper body and abs. So I mainly now endurance my legs and go moderatley heavy now. Heres the brakedown. 90 secs between each set:

LEGS:
Leg Extension Machine- 4 sets 15 reps 67.5#
Leg Curl Machine- 2 sets 20 reps 45#
BB Deadlifts- 2 sets 10 reps 45#
Smith Machine Lunges- 1 set each side 15 reps 70#
BB Squats on Upside down Bosu- 1 set 30 reps 30# BB
Hip Abduction Machine- 3 sets 15 reps 60#
Inner Thigh Machine- 3 sets 20 reps 80#
Glute Machine- 1 set each side 30 reps 67.5# (burned}()

ABS:
Did SJP abs and KPC abs this morning
Ab Cruches on Cable- 3 sets 20 reps 115#
Isolation Crunches on Stability Ball- 2 sets forward 1 set each side or obliques 25 reps
Ab Crunch Machine- 3 sets 15 reps 95#
Side Planks- 1 minute each side

Hey Lisa, yeah I am watching it right now.

I just worked abs, shoulders and back. I used a 5 pound plate for every ab exercise I could, and I used the ball too.

I did rows, one arm rows, and supermans w/ weight, and pullovers using 20lbs.

My shoulders, get this.... I used 15's for military presses! AND I used 10's for front raises! Have you fallen off your chairs?LOL!!
I also did side raises and upright rows, rotator cuff things and I did that incline side raise that Deb showed us, and holy sh**!! I used 5's and they ARE killers. Felt great!!

Everyone did great today. Off to get some sugar free hot chocolate.
