Terri-I agree with Marietta that you should take the day off. Too bad we can't get some other people on here to do the same thing! You know who you are! LOL! ;-)

Dallas-Let us know about your doctors appoinment. My sons are doing better, thanks for asking. I sent you an email. My DH finally found that Glutes magazine for me at Target too. He looked at walmart supercenters and at Borders and couldn't find it. I would start there if I were you.

Lisa-I don't see where 5 pounds could hurt you either! lol

Hi All -- I'm finally home from work!

Sabrina - I know you're not talking about me and rest days *wink*, but in my defense, the girls on the Videofitness Forum don't feel a total rest day is necessary a week. Most of them seem to do a light to moderate cardio day with some stretching 1 or 2 days a week to keep things in balance.....so I've been opting for that option and taking "active recovery" days.

As far as my sense of smell....I can only smell when the right side of my nose is open, when it switches to the left, I can't smell because the polyp is blocking the nerve endings and little opening in front of your brain (where you smell from). I have had an hour here or there where I can smell half decent and then nothing.

Nicole - Have you been adding on to your TLT/Firm rotation? I noticed you strayed from the schedule today. I'm thinking I might add on to some of the days, depending on how I feel. Tomorrow I do Calorie Killer.

ETA: Sabrina & Lisa -- I just got a chance to look at your picturs. Lisa - you are so petite.....but I know when I gain 5 pounds, it feels like 20! Sabrina - the dress looks lovely on you.
 
Hi Ladies, I popped back in to see if Dallas reported back from her Dr.'s appt.

Lora-With this group Sabrina was probably talking about us all! It is wht we have the name maiacs in the title :) I hate taking rest days as much as you do and as much as most of us here do. I have yet to workout today so I think Tomorrow I will double up and do one of the rotation workouts in the am and the one I missed in the pm. How is that for being a maniac!?

Good evening,
It has been another long busy day. I started the morning with Cardio Coach #4 and added on to make 5.75 miles, then I did P90X Chest and Back, Ab Ripper X and 125 reps on each Bowflex kneeling crunches and Seated resisted crunches.

Terri, I hope you get well soon. I know I am not good at taking those rest days when sick. I have DH visit down to days:)

Marietta, I picked up that issue of Oxygen yesterday at the grocery store. I haven't had time to look at it yet though. I have DH visit down to 25 days.

Susan welcome back. It is good to hear from you. I hope you get back on your feet quickly. I bet you are enjoying the little guy.

Dallas, I normally did a heavy leg workout twice a week. Sometimes I would alter w/ something more like GS and then MM lower w/ a floor workout or cable work on the Bowflex. Trying to hit all different angles. Since starting P90X though I just getting one day in and am trying to figure how to get more in. I usually work all body parts twice a week. I am just trying out this rotation to see how it works for me. So far it seems to be working great.

Evening Everyone!

Sorry it took so long to get back here. My ds6 had so much make-up work from missing last week. Then I had to help dd with her homework. Of course, all the other stuff...yada yada. ;-)

I ended up not going to my neighbor, but another doctor just because I wanted to been seen faster. Well, he said resume regular activity! Woo hoo! However, I told him when I try to do that I think I pay for it. He said start out at 50% for this week. He made this little support sock for me and said wear it for all work outs. The x-rays were fine. Whew! That's it! I'm supposed to follow up with him next Mon. I think I might follow up with my neighbor instead.

Of course, I had to try out that little support thingy. I got on the treadmill for an hour of incline walking. I ended up getting in 4.25 miles. I also did L&G standing and floor ankle weight work (no ankle weight though) this AM after ME upper body split. I really like the music in ME. I should really do that one more.

Terri ~ You're right about doing what works for you/me. How are you feeling? I'm so glad you took a rest day today.

Sabrina ~ My ds3 had to take Motrin again before bedtime. I hope we're not up all night again. Your dh sounds like the sweetest guy!

Marietta ~ I got that glute magazine. I skimmed it. It looks good! Thanks for mentioning it.

Lora ~ Have you decided what you're going to do about the surgery?
