Hello all. Sorry i have been MIA. I have been down. I have possible kidney stones. And you want to talk pain.. Been going on for a while here off an on. Going for a cat scan .. to see.Tha back pain has been buckling me over..And i thiought i pulled my back lifting. NOT..

Got a total body in . I went to my regular weights.. up to 45# Did a free style 3 sets 14 reps...All but chest. LOL..Getting there. Coming back here..

Linda, Debbie and Sandy,

When I am done with the X workouts, I want to get on a different rotation then what ya'll will be doing cuz I am already doing total body in the X workouts so really just wanna focus on one body part at a time and maybe doing some circuits inbetween, etc.

OUCH! So sorry to hear that. Does that run in your family? My hubby has boughts with kidney stones and his dad use to get them alot too.

Let us know how your doing and what cat scan says,etc., k?
 
Morning Maniac Hotties - Yes Mighty Toasty - you are first today. I'm off of work today so I slept in and just finished my workout.

This morning I did The Goddess KettleBell workouts - Strength and Cardio Circuit, Endurance segment and then I added on various other upper and lower body exercises and finished with abs/core. Workout was 75" (yikes) and I burned 485 calories. I think I may have overdone it a bit. I used my 15, 20 & 25 lb KB's and increased my weight with presses and swings and now my shoulders hurt (just iced them) and my glutes and upper thighs are already sore.....did lots of low squats, low side lunges and these things called Box Pistol Squats that were like a one legged-sit and stand squat with your other leg extended. We also did our lat work balancing on one leg with the other leg behind us (really brought the core into play). I listened to 3 Days Grace and Papa Roach, as there isn't any music on the KB workout. Good workout...but these KB instructor chickies need to lighten up a bit and have some fun.....SO freakin' serious.

I also did Perfect in 10 Stretch 20" and then Kundalini Yoga with Donna Davidge - The Spine & Flexibility 45". This was sort of hard for a yoga workout but my back's been hurting...so I thought it would be good for my spine. We rocked back and forth between plough and seated forward bends for a while and it felt really good...but was quite an advanced move. We moved our spine every which way.

Have great workouts everyone. My Mom's celebrating Easter today cuz we couldn't get everyone together on Sunday. I hope I don't get too carried away on the chocolate eggs and such over there....cuz I know for a fact she visited my favorite chocolate store this past week!!
 
Good Morning, I have grandchildren coming at 9 to color eggs:) Got to shower. I would like to do some more weight work later if I have time. I started my workout with Kelly's Cardio Sculpt Fitness stopping at the abs, then did Traceys High Intensity Step Mix 2 combos 6-10 and abs, then finished with Kelly's abs and stretch.

Anne, so sorry to hear that you might have kidney stones. Good to have you check in. I was wondering where you were.

I haven't been avoiding. I have just been taking 1 day at a time here. I go mon am for a ct. I couldn't even get on the treadmill for the pain in the back was so bad. I think i passed one a couple weeks ago.Like labor pains.. What is funny is the last 3 days no pain. Figure it..
Then i guess it gives you the runs also. I had an idiot lady in the dr. office told me , mabe you need immodian. I could have smacked her..She needs a colonoscopy to get what ever is up her arse out..
She was such a smart asssss...
We shall see. I ordered some herbs to dissolve them. I am just not ready to be down for another who know what..Can't hurt anyways..


I am released to do all on the 7th so as Arnold says.

Morning Maniacs,

I did CC #5 this morning, haven't run for that long in awhile. Workout was 55 minutes, traveled 4.58 miles, average HR 161 and 773 calories burned. Those 4 minute hill climbs were brutal. Also, tried my arm slings this morning and was humbled as I thought I would be. On hanging knees ups I did three sets 10/5/5, then on twisting knee ups I did 6/6/8. Got some work to do there! What should my goal be?

Anne - Sorry to here about your troubles. What a raw deal when your trying to come back! Hope the pain stays away for you.

Char - Debbie's next rotation is not full body she is going back to one body part a week I think. Maybe you should try that one with her.

Lora - Be careful with those shoulders! You don't want to out yourself out of commission!

Morning Maniacs! Yesterday was Slim Series Cardio/sculpt. Trying to do 3 fullbody workouts a week. It wasn't to difficult, so I went heavier than Debbie on most. Not bad for a 30 min. workout. Today will be another mt. bike ride on my usual 90 min. route. Dh and I are going to Moab tomorrow for the big jeep safari. Ds is already there. Should be fun!

Anne- Dang! Kidney stones sound painful! Let us know what the cat scans say. Good to see you!!

Char- Have fun with your workout today. Your new rotation sounds good too.

Lora- good luck with the chocolate eggs!}( And be careful with those Kb's and your shoulder!

Diane Sue- Have fun coloring eggs with the gk's this morning! They have such a great grandma!

Linda- great job with CC#5!! Great calorie burn! I can never get that high of burn.

Last day of this rotation. I will only be doing cardio this next week on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday. Then I'll start my one body part rotation next Saturday. Looking forward to the break. This was one grueling rotation. Had a couple personal bests today.

[font color=blue]***Last week I did Wide Stance Squats but changed it today to Hamstring Curls. I didn't feel anything doing the WSS. I can't seem to go heavy enough on those with the dumbbell's that I have so it's pointless to do them.[/font]

Anne - So sorry to hear about the stones. That totally sucks. Hope they can do something for you to relieve the pain.

Char - I'm going to start a one body part a week rotation next Saturday. I'm following it from the M&F Mens magazine.

I am swimming today for cardio - something new. going to try to do 100 yard sets for at least 60 minutes.

tomorrow is legs and then Monday I start the rotation Debbie sent me!

That sounds exciting to swim. Glad you will be doing Deb's rotation with us. Deb and I are starting next Saturday.

I plan on planting the grass seed today. Have fun with the weeds. Always did like picking them...relieves stress. Think it is very relaxing! Suppose to be warmer here today too...61.
 
I swam for forty min and then did aqua jogger drills for another twenty. I am off for a leisurely bike ride to enjoy the sun. talk to you all soon.

I thought I might get more in today. I put in tracey Staehle's parts dvd and did the weight portion of Total body on the parts series(only 11 minutes) Had a phone call and then dh came in.

Dallys, I had fun with the grandchildren today. DD and I had lunch and we visited:D Have fun in Moab:)

Anne, hope you get to feeling better. I keep thinking about how much pain that can be. I don't blame you for trying to find an alternative way to fix the problem. Can't believe some medical staff can be so insensitive. I think they really harden themselves to peoples pain.
