HARDCORE CHECK-IN TGIF

Yesterday was cardio and I did Powerstrike 6. This workout was nonstop but it was also low impact. My knees really enjoyed it after Plyo on Wednesday :D Today I have a short HIIT planned, maybe abs, and maybe a stretch. I really need one.

Today was cardio. I did a BM2 sort of premix thing. I started out doing Cardio Fushion, which is a workout combining BM2 and Low impact Step together but I don't know the two workouts well enough to just go and do it. Cathe does no breakdown in this one and I was lost. So I popped in BM2 and did about an hour of one of the premixes. It was fun.

I also did the Ab Work from KP&C. Love that one.

HR STATS:
58 minutes total
3 minutes below zone
21 minutes in zone
34 minutes above zone
472 calories burned

It's weird because when I did the first step segment I could hardly catch my breath. Then after I got to segment 2 and 3 I was fine. It seems to take my heart and body about 15 minutes to get acclimated to cardio.

Theresa - I have one of the Powerstrike workouts and I really liked it. I need to do it again. I like that they are low impact. I've been wanting to add to my collection, but I always end up finding something else to purchase. One of these days... Nice job!

Roselyn - Nice going with SB! That is a fun one! :)

Diane Sue - I am so sorry to hear about your DH. I thought all that stuff was over? I will keep him in my prayers. You are one strong woman! {{{hugs}}}

Morning:D

Quick check in. I just finished CC 5 Candace. Yesterday my car stopped, sucks, I had to get it towed $105.00:mad: Now waiting for the verdict think it is my starter, it went before. So I will check back, need to get ready.

I slept in a bit this morning. I feel like I have a cold coming on. Sitting out in the cold last night did not help. I started with STS Mesocycle 1 week 2 disc 6 legs 58 min 302 calories, then I did MMA Kickbox w/up, combos and drills 1&2 then abs and stretch 48 min, 253 calories, I finished off with STS extended stretch 15 min 45 calories. Total time spent was 2 hr 1 min and calories burned 600. I will come back later and post weights etc. I have a bunch of errands to get done first.

Debbie, thanks:)

Good morning -

Nice work, Theresa. I like Iliara. You've kinda made me want to pull that one out again. I only have one of her workouts - would like to add to that meager count ;). Stretching and a Hiit sounds like a good combo. Hope your knees are ok.

Roselyn - Step Blast is always fun. I put that one away for awhile because I did it SO MUCH, though

Debbie - That step routine with no breakdown was my first real exposure to Cathe step. It took me FOREVER to get it -- but after that, everything else seemed relatively doable :p. Also, my heart rate does the same thing. Really -- I feel more winded during the warm up sometimes, than the workout itself. After about 10-15 mins (like you said), I'm usually good to go and it doesn't feel so tough anymore. You got in a very good workout today. Sounded like fun :)

Teddy - Oh NO  I'm so sorry. I've been there with the car trouble stuff. Hope you get it sorted out without it being super pricey. Well done on the cardio today.

Diane Sue - Hope you aren't getting sick. Colds aren't 'serious,' I know but they sure can FEEL awful. Excellent workout :) and I hope you take it easy on yourself today (errands -- ugghh). You and your family continue to be in my best thoughts and prayers.

Cheryl - Any more brave decorating experiences? Ever since you shared about painting your walls, I've been looking at ours and thinking ..."hmmm ..." Don't have the same color scheme here, but still wish I'd been a bit more gutsy with paint choices. Still planning to start moving in this weekend?

My neck and back feel FINE :D :D :D Yesterday, I did some 'experimental' leg work and Leg Blast from B & G. Total time for this -- I don't know for sure -- over an hour. I also did MTV yoga last night. It's about 40 minutes and felt really good (thought of you, Hermia -- I think you have this one?). I believe I'm ready for Insanity again today  .

Hope you're having a good Friday.
