Today is a rest day. I will do some cleaning etc.. I am still fighting this cold. I slept a lot this weekend. Fell asleep reading yesterday and woke up a couple of hours later which is totally not normal. Then I still went to bed a few hours later and slept although I did wake up coughing a lot:(
I am still not sure whether to start STS meso 3 next week or take anlther week doing light stuff and mostly cardio. I guess it depends on how I feel.
I will check back later.
 
I finished my first 4 weeks of Insanity, this week is a cardio recovery week, don't really know what this is like but will see, have a good Sunday everyone
 
Roselyn, great job finish the first month of Insanity. I understand it is pretty tough and will get tougher;)
 
Hi Diane Sue, you probably needed some extra rest! It's good you got some extra sleep in to fight that cold.

I haven't worked out yet today, but here's what I've done since I checked in last:

Thursday: Yoga class, ten minutes from Tracey's core solutions (is that what it's called? now I can't remember, but anyway, her core tape)

Friday: too tired...no workout

Saturday: Tracey's Strictly Upper Body, then abs on my own with the stability ball

I hope you all are having good weekends. I so wanna be lazy but I"ve got 22 more papers to grade. boo!
 
I was hoping to cut down on sodium from eating out but had chinese food today. Shrimp Kew, fried rice( I ate half), Egg Drop soup( I ate half), and 1 fortune cookie. So much for omitting the salt. Yesterday was veggie pizza and I can sure tell it today. Got to get that salt out and drink lots of water. Son in Law is coming over to work on cubbies for my dd's new school classroom. She will soon finally be out of the school library and not sharing with another teacher.

Hermia, I think I am feeling much better, so I am sure that the rest was needed:) I do believe that it is Tracey's Core Blast and the other is Yoga Solutions. I know what you are talking about as I am sure the others do too. Good luck with the paper grading.
 
I made the Maui Black Bean Soup from the original clean eating cookbook. It is yummy. Had to cook up my own black beans but that was better so I didn't have all of the salt in canned black beans. I had a bowl for dinner, froze some and put some in the refrigerator for tomorrow after my dentist appointment.
 
Do you often make soup? I bought a soup cookbook over a year ago, gosh, maybe a couple years, but haven't tried anything in it. So many recipes sound so yummy, yet are so involved. I do cook regularly but don't have time for overly involved recipes.

Today's workout was most of Butts and Guts, the standing part. I left off the last set of squats and the lunge/squat combo, but added in calves.

Graded almost the entire day, but still eight papers short. I'll just have to give them back Wednesday. I'm so tired and want to get sleep before my early class, which finishing up those papers would pretty much ruin. Went to a Halloween party last night. It was relatively fun, but getting home late threw me off.
