Hardcore Check in October 11,2009 Sunday

Today is supposed to be a rest day. Since I got that new Jari Extremely Ripped 1000 I think I may go check it out and do some stretching. I will just use light weights with it. I saw that it has cardio segments in between the weight segments when I previewed some of it last night. To me it didn't look like very intense cardio but I will find out when I do it.
My dd is trying to recover from the flu. I imagine that it is the h1n1 virus. Her friend's daughter and 2 neices both got it. Her friend is a pediatric PA and she says it is because they suck their fingers/thumb and handle things.

this morning I did Amy Bento's In the Ring. Workout was 65" and I burned 740 calories. Max HR was 163.

No workouts to report this weekend. I do have doms in my shoulder but it's from my flu shot :) I have just been in no mood to exert any energy. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Diane, is your daughter's flu the regular sort? I know you mention the virus type, I'm just not familiar with that designation. I hope she gets better soon!

Well, today I did Tracie Long's Core Strength. It's been a while since I've done it. It's definitely got some tough moves!
