Good morning -
I've had 2 rest days in a row now. Decided it was best not to mess around with this and let it heal. Thinking about it, it's been years (literally - at least a couple) since I've taken off 2 days in a row. So, maybe this isn't all bad. Today, I will at least ride my trainer. I was afraid that even tensing my upper body (while sprinting hard) would bug my neck. I'll see how it goes today and maybe be able to do some leg work tomorrow. I'ts amazing how a seemingly unrelated muscle group in neck/upper back area can prevent any lower body training (Well. Not really. It's all connected). I don't think I could have held/stabilized for weights in any leg work without it agitating those muscles. I'm hoping they'll be ok to do this by tomorrow (maybe Leg blast from B & G would be ok - can use lighter weights in that one if I need to). And then by next week, back to regular weight training and Insanity (finger's crossed). That's my optimistic projection, anyway.
Roselyn - Great cardio today
Debbie - Very impressive workout for someone who felt they were having a low strength/energy day
Cheryl - I really like Power Hour. You've been pushing really hard between house stuff, work and workouts (you do that a lot in various ways, huh?). Some days are like that, I think (as far as your workout not feeling quite up to par). Maybe taking it easier this evening is just what you need.
Theresa - Laughed about your dog being a 'noid.' Mine can have that feature occasionally, too. Have fun with Plyo Legs
Hermia - Glad you ran across an instructor you like. My cooking for DS is so ... basic. I try some of the more elaborate meals and usually get shot down

He eats really pretty healthy (especially for a teenage boy), with an occasional need for a horrific sub sandwich or BOXED mac and cheese (POWDERED cheese

) with hotdogs sliced into it. Should I admit that? I've tried healthier versions of some of these classics but they just don't go over so well. He seems to strike a healthy balance on his own and is very active. Growing an inch every month takes a certain amount of energy too. He loves veggies -- almost ALL of them and prefers them plain. That helps and is kind of unusual, huh (he may get that from his mom

)? One thing: I try to always keep a big bowl of salad in the fridge (just restock as we use it). That's been a good habit for him. He's used to having one about every night. It's tough to cook for just 2 though, so I admire your efforts to support your fiance' in his diet

. I think Theresa mentioned some good resources and Diane Sue seems to put a lot of energy into creative, healthy cooking.
Teddy - Your workouts and eating have looked REALLY good. You seem to have your groove on
Still wondering about Linda. Hope she's doing ok. Has she posted but I just missed it?
Hi to anyone I missed - have a good day.
