Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Wed Aug 3

Cardio, Michelle Dozois Peak Cardio and first 15 minutes of Patrick Goudeau's Metabolic Cardio Strength, so I got in 60 min. of cardio, eating oatmeal toast and egg whites right now, I may start posting food again to keep me on track if anyone else wants to.
 
Today was Week 6, Day 2 of C25K. Got it done and did ok. Today was 2 - 1 mile jogs with 1/4 mile inbetween. This time I covered up the time again and got my Pampered Chef timer. I set it for 15 minutes (because I am doing 15 minute miles) and jogged until it went off. I put it on the side of my treadmill where I couldn't see it. I was amazed at how quickly the time passed doing this. The last 1/4 mile of the 2nd mile jog was a bit tough, not because of my breathing or HR, but because my legs are so sore from yesterdays workout. My ankles were bothering me as well, not sure what that is all about?

Wore my HR monitor and it worked for most of the workout. I think it lost my HR only twice.

Highest my HR got was 147 bpm so I know I can either go faster or longer. Right now I will stay at 4.0 mph until this 9 weeks is over. If I decide to do it over again I will try to give it a bit more speed.

Roselyn - I should post my eats but I'm eating so crappy right now it's not worth it. I'm having a heck of a time cleaning up my diet. And the weird thing is, everyone keeps telling me it looks like I'm losing weight. WTH?
 
Today I did a warm up on the rebounder while watching the TRX set up then did the TRX Performance workout:D 65 min 304 calorie. I then did Lauren Brooks Kettle Bell Volume 3 core 8 min 44 cal. This one uses the TRX for everything but the russian twists. I followed with High Reps no w/u adding back 39 min 232 cal. Finished with Tracey's Yoga Solution post cardio 11 min 26 cal. 2 hr. 3 min 606 cal..
Not sure about yesterday's eats. They were mediocre.
1 1/2 scoop whey
2 starving and after 1 had cucumbers while making the curried turkey sliders fro Clean Eating magazine. We put them in pitas, with cucumbers, spinach and tomatoes.
3 Amy's Lean Ground beef with diced potatoes cooked in beef boulliion and some water. This is something I did for DH all of the time instead of hamburger helper. I use low sodium ground beef and some season salt.
Broccoli, and salad
4 blueberry crisp made with blueberry pie filling(sugar!!) topped with oats, spelt, cinnamon, cocoa butter and small amount of brown sugar. Baked and added light cool whip. There is something about having grandchildren at the house:) Added some vanilla whey to mine.

Roselyn, I use Patrick Goudeau's workouts a lot. I think they are good workouts. Nice workout. I keep trying to remember to post my workouts, but with activities around here it gets messed up and I cannot always remember what all I ate.

Debbie, I wonder what is up with the ankles? I have worried for some time about my diet. Eating too much fruit and starch carbs. I wouldn't weigh in. Anyway today I did and my weight was at 116. I was expecting much more. Weird how that sometimes works. I don't weigh in a lot anyway. But specifically won't if I am pretty sure it will be annoying.
 
Diane Sue - I think I might weigh myself this Saturday, although I know I won't want to see the number. Last time I checked I was around 134# which isn't really bad for me. But I am also eating tons of carbs lately and I can see my middle getting soft. I don't like it, but I seem to be addicted to carbs again. Must tame that monster soon!
