Roselyn-What do you think of Meso 3 squat rack? I never got to it and it looks good. :)

Yesterday was BM2 upper body weights and abs. I have some mild DOMS today, which is a surprise  I think I am still recovering from this past weekend b/c I was lucky to get that workout in :( I partied like a rockstar, however I did not take into account that I am an aged rockstar who should switch to easy listening  :D  Anyway, today is cardio.

TTYL

Today was cardio and I did a workout I ordered from Netflix by Tracey Staehle. It's called High Intensity Kickboxing but quite frankly I didn't see what was all that intense about it. It was 30 minutes of kickboxing and then 30 minutes of body sculpting. I only did the kickboxing part. Then I did a 20 minute premix of Cardio Kickbox Challenge, also by Tracey. Love this one and should have just done that one from the get go. But I really wanted to see what the other one was like. Not great, but probably ok for a more lazy cardio day.

I also did the Ab Work from Step, Jump & Pump. I really need to work on planks again, I can't hold them for any longer then about 30 seconds now. Really bums me out.

CARDIO STATS:
53 minutes total
5 minutes below zone
35 minutes in zone
13 minutes above zone
(thanks to CKBC)
395 calories burned

Not a great calorie burn but really didn't expect one. Oh well...

Good Morning,:D

Quick check in, me just getting to work. I had to get my house alarm repaired…............

Lasts night, I did……….first let me say, my intentions was too do KPC but when I open my DVD player there was Drill Max 2 still in my DVD player:eek: So, I thought, hm…can I pull Scrambled Eggs off again? Yes, I did, man oh man I was dog tired after I finished, but I really had fun while doing it:rolleyes:

This morning, I started with a 30 minute slow steady run, “The Plan” was to do an hour, STILL dog tired from Scramble Eggs:eek: I decided enough is enough, so wanted to keep legs in hurt mode LOL I did KM (leg drills) followed that one up with GS floor work, bbl

This morning I did Tracey's High Intensity Step Mix 2, 90 minutes, 625 calories, Max HR 155. Then for additional abs/core work I did STS Stability Ball abs 20 min 76 calories, then Tracey's Core Blast ball and bosu segments 11 min, 41 calories. I used a med ball while doing the get up/get down move on the bosu. Added some additional weight to other moves as well. I finished with Tracey's Yoga Solutions Post cycle segment 12 minutes 28 calories. Total workout time was 2 hr 13 min and calories 770. We went to town afterward. Had breakfast there and went to the feed store for dog food. I got a yummy veggie omelet.

Roselyn - Nice workout with those legs! You are doing some very impressive weights, too! I also loved the STS Squat Rack workouts. Very fun and it goes by so fast.

Theresa - LMAO on what you wrote about being a rockstar! I can so relate!!! But at least you had fun, right???

Teddygirl - VERY impressive workouts, girl! You are truly rockin' it!!! And I can't berlieve you can do a workout like Scrambled Eggs in the evenings. I give you huge kudos for that because I could never do it!

Diane Sue - Also, very nice impressive workouts! How is Tracey's step workouts? I hear they are really hard to learn. I'd like to try them but I have no patience to do something if it takes forever to learn.

Debbie, I think that Tracey as with a good many other instructors has made the workouts a little easier to learn. I find this one fun. Not terribly difficult. The only workout of hers that I just finally gave up on with the choreography was the hi/lo attached to the end of one of her earlier kickbox workouts. I just could never get into it enough to want to try.

Hi Everyone!

I only have time for a short post, since my computer timed out and I lost the last one....ARGH!!

Theresa - LOL....I hear ya since I "partied like a rockstar" last Friday night!

Debbie - Nice workout! I can't hold planks for as long either, but I think it's just a matter of doing them more consistently...?

Diane Sue - Nice workout! You made me hungry for a yummy omlet!

Roselyn - Love the squat rack work! :D

Hi to everyone else....sorry for the short post but I'm off to work on my "second job" (new house) :p Today was Step Blast (copied from Debbie last week).

Cheryl

Ok, finally able to get on here for a bit to do personals. I don't always post my stats from my HR monitor but here is the ones from High Intensity Step Mix 2 this morning. 20% fat.
level 1 60-70% of HR 21:32 min
level 2 70-80% of HR 17:27 min
level 3 80-90% of HR 51:50 min
Breakfast wasn't so healthy since I had whole eggs and I am sure regular fat cheese in that omelet. No real lunch since breakfast was near 11 this morning. I am going to make the lentil soup from M&F Hers Magazine for dinner.

Debbie, that workout is pretty easy. I remember taking it and doing it in our fifth wheel while on vacation. Ther premix you did from here newest kickbox is a favorite of mine:D Sweatfest is better than that one. I think Strike Zone and her newest Kickbox Challenge are way better. Sweatfest is the one I mentioned that has the hi/lo I never learned on it. I think that as far as step, her Steady State Step and the High Intensity Step Challenge Mix 2 are the best. I return to those quite often. I do have others.

Roselyn, nice job on the lower body weight:)

Teddy, you have been getting in quite the workouts:D Great job. Doing the Scrambled eggs workouts that close together would definitely take it's toll. LOL on wanting to keep the leg doms going with KM leg drills.

Theresa, I think the older we get the more work our bodies have to do to recover from things like those parties. Take it easy. Drink some ginger tea. I think it helps a lot with that sort of thing.

I know pumping out a workout like SE wasn't easy NO joke, matter of fact, soon as I get home, going straight to bed I am a bit tired.

Confession, i ate a brownie :) what am I to do about my sweet tooth:mad:

M1: green smoothie, wheatgrass, BSN cinnamon, 1c almond milk (40 cals) 9:20am
M2: FF yogurt w/ 1/4c wheat germ 11:30
M3: 4 slices of deli turkey and salad w/cucumbers, red peppers, walnuts, croutons and 3 Tbsp of RR dressing 1:pm
M4: 2 skinless chicken legs w/ asparagus and tomatoe
(just maybe I lay in bed and eat m4)

Have a wonderful evening everyone:)

Teddy, your eats look good. I have brownies from Saturday. I stuck them in the freezer. I am hoping to forget they are in there.

Hey everyone...today I went to yoga class. There was a sub and her class was really good; I wish she was there regularly.

I am going to look online for new cookbooks; any suggestions are welcome! I need super healthy stuff for my fiance. His trainer has him on a low fat/high protein sort of diet.
