Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Tues Aug 2

Today was total body and I chose STS Total Body. Had a great workout. I went up in weights but decided to skip all of the shoulder work. My right shoulder is FINALLY feeling much better and I want to keep it that way. Went light with benching, too, because that tends to irritate it. I was sweating like crazy by the time I got done. Love this workout! No abs, will do those some other time this week.

Hello Everyone:

I wanted to let you all know that I will be filming my second workout, "RapidFire:Results" on Sunday, August 21st here at my studio in New York. Greg Twombly will be directing. The workout will include a warm up, followed by 4 rounds. In each round we will:

1)build a fun punching/kicking combination
2)move from the combination into a more intense cardio segment
3)do a kicking drill
4)complete the round with a metabolic weight segment which will focus on a different upper body part in each round (for example, round 1 will focus on shoulders) and include kicks, squats and various lunges.

After round 4, we'll move into an ab segment.

All you'll need for the workout is a set of dumbells (between 4 - 7.5 pounds for the metabolic weight segments), and a medicine ball (for the ab segment). My team and I are going to be wearing 1 pound weighted hand wraps -- but that is totally optional. I've done the workout with the wraps and without and I find it equally challenging with or without. I will have two modifiers featured in this workout. Kitty will be showing basic modifications and Chris will be showing advanced modifications.

Today was URX-MT patrick Goudeau Metabolic Strength Cardio Interval 45 min, 321 calories. I then did Amy's Kettlebell Power workout 2, 16 min, 108 calories, I finished with High Reps Lower premix 34 min 182 calories. Total time spent was 95 min and calories burned 611.
Really tired today and I have 6 of my 7 grandchildren here today. I stayed up too late last night.
I got my TRX and X mount for it today. I will have to have my DS help install it. I haven't had time to open the box yet but am looking forward to incorporating it.

Debbie, thanks for posting that I will definitely be ordering that one. It looks good. I am glad to hear that the shoulder is doing so much better.

Roselyn, I had a little interest in the the Asylum workouts but it sort of went away. Not sure why. Good job on doing them. I am sure they are pretty tough.
