Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Sat April 30

Today was total body and I had a really good workout. Same workout as last Saturday only in superset fashion.

2 sets/12 reps with 1 minute 30 second rest between each superset.

Diane Sue - OMG! I am so happy your dh is ok. I don't know how you deal with this. I'd be going out of my skin with worry. I pray he comes home safe soon.

I slept in this morning:D I am picking up two of my grandchildren for a sleepover tonight so their mother can get a break. Her husband is away preparing to go to Afghanistan and I think she really needs one. Olivia is a real challenge for her at times along with work.
This morning I did Urban Rebounding Extreme-MT Greg Cook Metabolic Intervals and Circuits, 49 min, 336 cal, Max HR 156. I think this should have been called cardio core circuit:) Lots of core work in it. I really liked this one a lot. I was thinking that my readings were kind of low by the way it felt but then remembered the last two days I have used my HR monitor that gives lower readings. I then did Kelly Coffey's Split Sessions Upper 33 min, 183 calories. I liked that this was done at 12 reps with the exception of the pulses on the back. There are some nice short premixes that would be great for add ons to other workouts. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga flow water core and budokon flow and flexibilty 49 min 205 calories. Total workout time was 2 hr 11 min and calories burned 724.

Debbie, Roselyn and Hermia, thanks for your thoughts and prayers:) It is stressful. Especially knowing that things happened when he was in Iraq that were much worse than I knew about when he went there in the the past. His hotel was bombed and another time there was a crash and he had a concussion. So now Afghanistan which seems worse.
