HARD CORE FITNESS MANIACS FOR SAT APR 2

I did Kelly Coffey-Meyer Step Boxing, I have never done this one I am sad to say I have had it for awhile, then Jillian abs and the floorwork of lower body. Anyone else have Stepboxing and any comments.

These are my planned eats (weekends are hard)

M1-Protein bar
M2-Turkey sandwich
M3-apple, peanut butter
M4-salad with grilled chicken, veggies, balsamic
M5-greek yogurt

Let's see if I can stick to this with my family here noshing on other stuff.

Oh, my son who will be 16 in July, is going to his first dance tonight with an older woman of 16:) It is her junior ring dance, so weird, number one my only son and number two he is my baby!!! So, this was my first time ordering the wrist corsage. so used to my daughter and her stuff that this is hard because she always got picked up at home for pics and stuff so now I am on the other end:(
 
Today was total body and I had an excellent workout. Same workout as last Saturday only in superset fasion.

2 sets/15 reps with 2 minute rest between each superset.

Weight Bench Dips - 35's (up 5#)
ss w/
Hammer Curls - 17's (up 2#)

SS #2
Hamstring Curls - 45# (up 5#)
ss w/
Lateral Raise - 12's (up 1#)

SS #3
Dumbbell Pullovers - 35# (up 5#)
ss w/
Decline Dumbbell Flyes - 27's (up 2#)
***Last week I did flat flyes but wasn't sure because I didn't update my workout sheet. Oh well.

ABS:
5 sets of 45 second planks with 45 second rest between Last set ended up being 35 seconds. Those killed!

Then I did the ab work from Step, Jump & Pump but skipped the planks. Got a great burn!

Roselyn - Did you like KCM's workout? I hope your son has fun, it is hard to let them go. And I'm with you about weekends. I have the hardest time sticking to my diet also.

Diane Sue - It took me a while to figure out how to do those mixes. I have an mp3 player so I don't know if that will make a difference. But I hook my mp3 player to my PC, make a subdirectory called CC Mix #1 (or whatever # I'm on) and then I load the tracks IN ORDER. Then when I'm looking for the mix, I just go to the directory on my Mp3 player, choose the first track and it will play them all in order as to how I loaded them. Once you figure it out, it's easy. One word of advice: Always use the warmup or steady state section from the challenge you will be using. So like if you are using Challenge #2 on CC #8, use the steady state track that is right before it because then it prepares you for which challenge you will be doing. The first ones I put together I chose steady state tracks from different workouts and so it was hard to figure out what was coming next. LOL!

A quick check in. Hopefully I will be back. I have an AT&T guy coming to install a u-verse package which does include the internet. I did Supreme 90 Chest Shoulders and Triceps which I really liked. It has a core benefit through most of it as well. 45 min, 277 calories. Then I did a premix from Tracey Staehle Steady ...State Step, power step mix, 28 min 220 calories. I finished with Shiva Rea Power Yoga Flow balance flow and creative roots 33 min 161 calories. Total time 1 hr 47 min and calories burned 658. I will come back and post CST in a while since I have not posted that one yet:)
 
Roselyn, hope you get some cute pics of your son and his date...since he goes to pick her up, do you just have to rely on her fam for pics? It is weird when they get older. I haven't got any of my own, but my sister has three and the oldest one (just 13!) is starting to have boyfriends and such...she's on my facebook so I'll see her posts and a lot of them weird me out, like when she listed "partying" as one of her hobbies. It would probably feel even more strange if I were the mom instead of the Auntie.

Yesterday I started my workout quite a bit later than I'd intended, even by my standards of late workouts. I did the one set premix of STS total body, which is about 45 minutes, and then the double leg drills from whatever Cathe's newest lower body dvd is called.

Today was yoga class.
 
It is late and I really should be in bed but trying to catch up here. The AT&T guy was having problems setting things up here and it took a long time. Talked to DH twice today. He leaves for Afghanistan tomorrow. Hopefully I get to talk to him before he heads out.

Debbie, thanks for the info. I will have to see what I can do. I know in itunes I can check what I want to download. CC has each track separate so I should be able to do that.

Roselyn, I remember all of that with my 3 children. They grow up so fast and yes, the boys are different. I like Kelly Coffey's Step Boxing. She usually comes up with some different music that I like.
