Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Mon Sept 5

Happy 20th to my baby girl today!

I worked bis, tris and shoulders today with pretty heavy weights, did an STS dvd, then worked legs on bar part of lower body.

A day off going to, of course, catch up on things here and try to relax some with the family.

Happy Labor Day!! :rolleyes:Late start today. I ended up doing CC#8 and it felted wonderful. I’m about to light the grill in a bit, throw on some, Italian turkey hot dogs and turkey burger, maybe a few chicken breasts, that’s it for me Have a wonderful day!:D;)

This morning I did TRX Kettlebell Iron Circuit Power. I liked this better than the other Kettlebell TRX workout. It was 64 min and calories burned was 344. I really like the single arm row with kettlebell TRX and kettlebell combo. The goblet squats are great. I am having problems with feeling anything with the resisted torso rotation and they throw that in twice. I keep thinking I tend to bend one knee when doing it and I really am not feeling much of anything. I need to spend some time watching and trying this because I must not be doing it right. I followed this with Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Dynamics Intervals mix with the abs 27 min, 202 calories max HR 162. I then did the Abs from Kettlebell Dynamics 7 min, 49 calories(this one took me a long time to get the arm bar and core connection even though I have done it a lot) But, I really do like it. I finished with Shiva Rea's Power Yoga Flow water core segment. Total time was 1hr 48 min, calories burned was 609. No special plans for me today. I am headed out to the store for some things I am packing up to mail to dh tomorrow. Clean house and a few more yard things. Then back to running to schools tomorrow.

Actually, Diane Sue, the whole weekend has been dedicated to Danielle!!

Is Debbie taking a rest for a couple of weeks, miss her.

I am looking forward to getting my Sharon Twombly dvd, it seems like you enjoy zero to sixty, I think it is coming this week.

Roselyn, yes, Debbie is taking a break to try to get over some of the problems she has been having. I miss her check ins too! Our family tends to have long dedicated birthday's too. I bet it has been nice relaxing. I bet you like zero to sixty. The music is nice and Sharon is great. I tell you I started out with heavier weights and soon lowered. You use them constantly. I did use 3# for the lower weight dumbbells and then went to 5's. Maybe someday I can go to 8's like I tried at the start. It is a really nice workout and burns a lot of calories without tons of jumping.
Oh, and crazy worlds is an understatement. Football game for grandson which means I make dinner. Running to school and I am tired thinking about it:)
