HARD CORE FITNESS MANIACS FOR FRI NOV 12

Hi All!

I figured I would drop in and say hello to everyone considering I don't have internet at home until at least next Friday. :( I have been working like a madwoman and finally have begun "Movemax". My eating has been out of control, but at least I have been very consistent with exercising. I'm down another pound this week, so I'll celebrate that!

Today was BodyMax 2 Cardio Premix. I had a good workout even though I was tired from moving until the wee hours last night!! I ate terribly yesterday - Wendy's - Yup, and not even a "good choice". I had a FRIED chicken sandwich and a LARGE order of FF - I haven't done that in years!!! YUK! Regardless, I really didn't eat much else yesterday and my dear neice brought us food while we were working, so of course I ate it!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll check in when I can over the next week.

Cheryl

Morning:rolleyes:

I am so happy tomorrow is going to be warm, I have one final chances to cut my grass and mulch and bag leaves. I have someone cleaning my gutters again, so many freaking leaves blew back into the gutters:eek:

This morning, I did 45 minutes of Candace, man oh man, Have a wonderful day.

Roselyn: Nice work ;)
Cheryl – Have a good time:).

I didn't have to take anyone to school this morning so was able to do my workout straight through:D A few interruptions from the grandbaby. But not too bad. I started with 10 minute Solution Kettlebell Fat Burner upper power sculpt segment using a 15lb kettlebell to get in a good w/up 10 minutes, 87 calories, HR 136 avg 156 max. I went on to STS mesocycle 1 week 3 disc 7 chest, shoulders, and triceps. 60 minutes, 409 calories. I wanted some more cardio and abs so did Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Dynamics all intervals mix which is intervals twice with w/up abs and str. 27 minutes, 231 calories, HR 135 avg 166 max. I finished with Turbo Fire Abs 10 and Stretch 10, 24 min, 108 calories.

Roselyn, looks like we both had TF abs in mind:)

Cheryl, you are probably burning those calories off with all of the work and working out. When someone brings food you are really about obligated to eat some;)

Teddy, whenever someone mentions trees and leaves I feel so happy I moved to a house with evergreens. DH used to make me nervous when he got on the roof to clean those gutters. He used to take a blower on the roof and blow them out:eek: Raining here so I won't get anything done outside.

Good Morning -

Diane Sue - Really appreciated your post about good (food) products and the ways you use them. You're very creative and thoughtful in that area. Not sure about their availability around here - we have one small store that specializes in natural/health food - I will check it out though. I don't think Hermia has time to check in every day but really hope she saw what you wrote. My DS went through an eating period like the one you described for Olivia when he was somewhere around her age. He was very picky (A LOT of foods brought an immediate "eeew" - no negotiating THAT, either). There were a few standards he would eat and they weren't altogether healthy or balanced. Also, most of them seemed to be yellowish/brown  (chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, peanut butter). Like Olivia, he did like apples (yes -- especially the yellow ones) and brocolli, carrots (color exceptions) ... bananas (there we go). Wierd phase, but it passed and his habits are really very good now. Made me smile when you mentioned it, though. Anyway -- excellent workout today. It's nice not to be rushed for time and good to know your workout partner is still keeping you in line ;)

Roselyn - Great job today and thanks :) - I will be borrowing your Meso 3 Insanity mix in the next week or so.

Teddy - I hope things have settled down for you and your plumbing problem's resolved. I got out of dealing with the leaves here yesterday. A valid excuse -- they are covered with snow  Glad you had a "man oh man" workout :p -- those are a good thing :)

Cheryl - Yay for Movemax :) - You've sure been working hard. You deal with chaos and upheaval very well, imo. And on top of it all, still getting in some very good workouts. I'll be happy for you when you're finally settled in (as I'm sure you will be too :p).

DS was up for a good part of the night with stomach problems. He was really in a lot of pain (intestinal cramps). We got through it and he woke up feeling just fine. It has been awhile since I've been up all night with a sick kid. Yesterday, I did GS Legs (added on some extra sets) standing work only. I also did Brook Benten's B & G Express cardio and abs and practiced Pistols for about ten minutes. Today, I have some bike intervals and Tabata cycles planned. Budokon tonight -- I hope. Since DS was sick, I didn't get to much of the work I'd wanted to last night. I'll see how it goes.

Enjoy your Friday.

Lori

Lori, here is a link to purchasing those noodles http://www.fighterdiet.com/store/itemdetail.php?i=54e
I had a hard time finding them in the Akins Market this time because they moved them to refrigerated grains etc. They used to be with the tofu. If fighter diet is the same they are not huge packaged. I eat one for a meal. Also I noticed that the expiration date on what I purchased is not till March. I wonder if theirs are the refigerated variety? Hmm! Thinking how they would ship them.
My grandbaby will not eat bananas, chicken nuggets or pretty much anything that looks like meat she will not eat. Right now it is package macaroni and cheese. (I have tried making my own) Alfredo which she picks the chicken out of so she doesn't eat it, grilled cheese on white bread, peanut butter with jelly. I feed her Luna bars she is not as fond of the extra protein variety, kidz z bars, apples, yogurt with the characters on the package, waffles, and she likes poptarts. That is pretty much what she likes other than candy and ice cream:confused: I am going to try to make package mac and cheese and see if I can sneak in a little pumpkin or ground up carrots. Wonder if she will notice. She used to eat fresh bell peppers and carrots but now she won't.
It sounds like DS has the stomach thing I had for a few days.

Diane Sue - Thank you so much for the link :) -- Olivia's quirks sound a lot like DS's "toddler diet." I forgot about pop tarts (but I had to cut the 'crusts' off  -- I know, I know -- but you do what you have to, I guess ). Also, he liked browshug and simunin opu-me-oh (brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal), but it had to be REALLY watery. Eeeew (to borrow a popular term). Right with you on the packaged macaroni and cheese. Good luck trying to make it healthier. Would you pass it on if you find a way she will accept? That's the one thing he STILL likes and he still will not go for any 'healthier' version. I couldn't see how a little body would be able to grow with a diet like that, but they seem to do just fine. His stomach thing was AWFUL -- I can't believe you worked out (or even moved) if you had what he did. Well. Yes I can ;) I am very glad you are both feeling better. :)

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on for a few days, but I'm going to have to go through some of the older posts and look for what you mentioned, Lori, that post from Diane Sue about some good food ideas. I am always looking for things like that. So far on the cooking healthy foods from the diet Mark's trainer has him on, Mark has lost two pounds. =)
I hope the diet is helping. His trainer is going to check out the Muscle chow book online and see if it fits in with his diet (which I'm sure it will) and then I can buy it and have more variety.

Yesterday I went to Candlelight Yoga class, which was good for how beat I was feeling. Not long after I got home I passed out still in my yoga clothes, contacts, etc, then woke up about half past one and took out my contacts and all that.

Today was the stability ball abs from Buts and Guts and then just sort of my own premix.
