That means one more day til Friday!! :) Today is my friday since I dont work on fridays, go me.
Im always happy to get my three day weekend. Its been a long week with the hurricane and work and court and i have a trainee today since the usual girl is on vacation today. I have a feeling we will get swamped since technically i am alone.

I hope everyone is doing well today. Nothing new with me. My husband is off for the three day weekend so we can FINALLY see each other

My pants feel tight today and the scale has moved up some, thats always hard for me. I havent exactly been eating healthy tho. ANd i see my husband stuck some peanut m and m's in my lunch bag today. Which is dangerous when you just sit at a desk all day.

I did Kelly Coffey Meyers Cardio Sculpt Fitness last nite, not sure what is up for today
 
Morning! Just off to work this am. Inlaws are back and are with the kids this am so i can get to work early. Did cardio with weights plus a segment of Imax 2 just for fun. not really fun, torture more like it!
Jenm-peanut butter m&m's are my absolute favorite. The plain ol peanut ones though are just as dangerous. I hope your willpower holds. Last night we went out to eat and I busted the button off of my pants when I stood up. Luckily I did have on a baby doll top so it covered it. I think that it is time to move to maternity. RATS.

Morning girls!
I dropped dd off at school and bubbles off at the vet for grooming. The ONLY thing I like about this town is that everything is a block away. I am going to attmep ME this morning. I havent done it since before neck surgery. I think my foot will be ok...we'll see.
I 2nd that peanut m&m's are the best! My dh loves them with a cold Coke.
Today no big plans. I am just enjoying this dowm time before I start school. My boobs are finally not sore...I have a week before pms usually starts. Thank goodness its not severe pms. I don't kill people or anything:mad: But hopefully I WONT have pms this month, right!:D

Jen-Hi...I happy youll have a long weekend with dh. Is he older than you? Just wondered because he had other kids. If its none of my business I undertand. My dh is 5 years older than me. That is why he's about done baby making..he thinks hes too old!

Morning girls!

It's 6:30 am here and I already finished my workout!! I did about 40min on the elliptical. I haven't had time to post all week b/c the boys started school Mon. and we are all getting used to our new schedule. I am still not used to taking Wilson to his new school, it is so much bigger than his last school. So I have been crying a lot this week. I think my pg hormones have a lot to do with it:D

I am so excited to hear from Maggie. I wonder when she will be getting home from the hospital.

JenM, I third that peanut M&Ms are my absolute favorite. I always get them when we go to the movies and eat the whole bag:eek: I'm glad the hurricane is over and you are safe. Don't worry about the tight pants you are pg. I started wearing maternity clothes early just b/c they are so much more comfortable.

Susan, I hope there is no PMS this month! When does your school start?

Mikkia, I can't believe you are already 18 weeks! It seems like your pg is flying by:) I popped a button on my jeans in early pg too! I love shopping for maternity clothes.

Hi everyone else!!

I got the baby's bedding yesterday! I really want to put it on the crib but I have to get a new mattress, since my brilliant dh threw our old one out when we moved 10mos ago. I am taking my rocking chair to be recovered today!! The nursery is really coming along, we just need to paint.

Rock Steady Step

Anyone do CIA Seazen Ziegler (sp?) Rock Steady Step workout? I just got it from Netflix---and I really enjoyed it. One of her co-star's 6 months pregnant. I think it's great when they include a pg modifier in workouts....although I think she does more than what has been published as "safe" in pregnancy---all the jumps & even core exercises/ab work on her back. It might be worth checking out if you're looking for something different. :)
 
Workout done! I missed ME. ONly the warm up and coming down on my foot from the leg press hurt my foot just a little. Im so glad its not my ankle I sprained! I WILL be sore tomorrow.
Candra- good for you for working out early! Seeing my dd walk into school each morning with that big ole backpack on just pulls at my heart! They grow up so fast! I start school on Monday.
JemM-my grandparents live in Jacksonville and it looks like Fay may be coming back to hit them again. My dad on the other hand lives near Tampa, and they didnt even get rain! Enjoy a few m&m's for me!...but not too many.
Im off to shower and figure out my plans for the day.

Candra--Way to go on the workout!! I'm sorry this week has been rough for you. I was just feeling bummed because when I dropped off Henry this a.m. at preschool, the teacher whisked him away before I could give my ritual hug and "I love you" to him. Seems like motherhood is constantly ridden with guilt. :( I'm sure Wilson will do great at his new school. He'll blossom there and make lots of friends. I think we worry way more than they do. ((hugs))

Had a bit of a scare yesterday afternoon. Henry stumbled down the stairs, but was OK. He didn't even get too upset. He just asked for a granola bar after the incident. I, on the other hand, was a basket case. I hate stairs. Then later that afternoon, he tried to scale the ledge that looks over our loft/bonus room upstairs and overlooks the stairs. I'm going to have to make him wear a helmet at all times if he keeps this up. He's at preschool now, where I'm told he acts very quiet. Funny how kids are two different people at school and at home. Oliver has his first-grade parent meeting tonight, and he came home yesterday and informed me that it's just for parents, not kids. I have no sitter available, so I'm going to be a bad parent and take the kiddos. Mom is sick and can't sit, and I don't use other sitters (it's a worry-wart thing of mine). And I want both DH and I to go because he probably will be more involved this year than last year, since I'll have the baby and won't be able to attend fall field trips, volunteer, etc. Anyway...
I've got to work on my church newsletter. Hope everyone has a great day!! (Sorry I wrote a novel!!) :eek:
 
Hey Stephanie-didnt you know a granola bar was a cure all :D. Im glad Im not the only one...my dd has never had a real baby sitter..just my mom. My mom now lives 3 hours away and still comes on weekends when we need her. I figure if I do have another baby by the time I got somewhere dd can babysit..haha. My dd will be coming with us to the schools open house too...you and me are rebels uh..:p I have a toy poodle. She weighs 5 pounds and is like our 2nd child!

Susan--My mom has a toy poodle, Sophie, and she is the sweetest dog I have ever met! I'm also a little worried about Kate. I sure hope all is well with her.

Bubbles is the sweetest dog too. I had thought poodles favored one owner over another, but she loves me, dd and dh all the same. Very sweet lap dog!

wow the boards are busy today :) im busy at work so my check in time is limited

glad everyone enjoy's the m and m's! Im glad i emptied out a handful or two when my DH put them in my bag. I just finished them off. Hah. Guess i have to workout tonite for sure :)
i only had a yogurt so far and nature valley granola bar a few hours ago. almost lunch time.

Candra - what nursery theme did you go with? I got my bedding last week and im only 14 weeks. It was the last one and on clearance plus i had a coupon. Its noah's ark in a gender neutral pale color theme. So cute :) Isnt it exciting? I have my registry up at Babies R Us. Now i just have to pick a crib ( i have five on there right now just to keep track until i pick one) and a pack and play.

Susan - no bother at all, my husband is 30. I'm 28. He married young and already has 3 kids, all with his ex wife. So this is baby number 4 for him. He learned their sexes before they were born. with ours he doesnt want to know until due day for some reason

I hope Maggie had her baby! We are all awaiting eagerly. Im guessing she did since she hasnt been on the boards in two days.

JenM, the bedding is the "all creatures great and small" at landofnod.com if you want to check it out. It is gender neutral even though we know we are having a boy.

Stephanie, Owen definitely needs a helmet. He climbs on everything and if he thinks I am not watching he will slide down the banister. I wonder what it would be like to have girls.

Susan, we have a 3 pound chihuhua. She is definitely spoiled. She is a very good dog though and gets along great with the kids. For how little is, she is definitely sturdy:D

I also only let family babysit and only certain family members at that!

I am so excited for Maggie! Gwen is beautiful!

Hey ladies, don't mean to butt into your check in here. Just wanted to let you know that we (the clean and tidy ladies) are worried about Kate too, haven't heard from her today. I called her cell but no answer, I left a message so hopefully we hear from her soon!

Inservice is officially over:D!!! I do need to go into my classroom tomorrow morning and get some last minute things ready for Monday, when the little first graders arrive.

The strangest thing happened today when I got my allergy shot. I was waiting in the office, when I saw the OB who did my first c/s. He looked at me and remembered me (surprising b/c there are so many docs at that practice). Anyway, he asked me if I scheduled the c/s yet, I told him the date, and he said that was too late (2 days before my due date). I also told him that I wanted him, but he wasn't available that week. Anyway, he said, "How about the 2nd of Oct?". I said that was fine, he put a memo on his phone and said I will get a call tomorrow from the office confirming that he will do the c/s on the 2nd. What a coincidence that was! Now, let's see if he follows through.

I have a lot of pain/pressure again today, so no workout. I feel bad about not exercising, but when just standing is painful I don't want to push it.

Great news about Maggie!

Steph-How did the parent meeting go? I love when my DS gets hurt, and I think it's so bad, then he immediately asks to go outside and play;). Glad DS is o.k.

Jen #2-Enjoy the long weekend with your hubby.

Jen--I'm scheduled for my c/s on Oct. 2!!!! How exciting!!! Parent meeting went well. I love his teacher, but she'll be out until the middle or so of October. She seems really great.

Had a hormonal breakdown this afternoon and yelled at the kids. Bad bad mommy. Hoping tomorrow will bring more patience. They are being so loving tonight, which makes me feel extra guilty. Anyway, hope everyone is having a good evening. I've got to call out spelling words now for a last-minute cram session before DS's test tomorrow (no this isn't the first time we've gone over them :p). Nighty night, guys!
 
Stephanie, I'm very unpatient when I'm pregnant. I do alot of apologizing. Hormones, what can I say? Anyways, don't be too hard on yourself. :)

JenM, I love land of nod. They have the cutest stuff. It is really good quality too. Some of it can be a bit pricey though.

Stephanie and Jen, I can't believe you guys will be having your babies the same day:) How exciting! I wish I knew what day my baby was coming. I am always late so it will probably be towards the end of Oct.:(
