Hamstring Question

Hi! All - I have started my running journey - thanks for all the good advice - especially running shoes - went to a runner's edge in my area and they were so nice and helpful.

Anyway, my question has to do with tight hamstrings. I am up to running 5 minutes on the treadmill - I warmup 5, run 5 walk 1 , run 5 walk 1 run 5 then cool down 5.

As I'm into my second 5 minute run (oh by the way, I do the treadmill after a half hour on the elliptical), I start to notice my left hamstring - I wouldn't say it hurts and it does not stop me from continuing, but I definately "know" it's there. I have been leary to up the minutes of running without the break due to this.

Is this normal, are there any exercises/stretches that I should do to help with this.

I spin 2x week and stretch after class. Also after my run day (only 1 per week until warmer weather) I do a pilates mat class.
