Hi moms and moms-to-be!

I had my 20 week sonogram this morning! It was amazing! My DH got to watch the whole thing. I couldn't see the screen until she angled it at me towards the end.:( It's really wild and amazing!

All is going very well.

My little one is apparently quite active...just active enough at times that it actually made the technician's job easier b/c the baby would move allowing her to take pics of everything she needed. I don't feel the kicking, jabbing or punching as of yet but considering how active the little one is, when I DO start to feel it, I have a feeling it will be quite the common occurance!:D

Originally my DH and I were split as to wether or not we wanted to know the sex of the baby. I said Yes, and DH said No. Well, while she was doing the sono. she asked us if we wanted to know. I was in the middle of saying No because of my DH and he pipes up with YES! I couldn't believe it! He said he changed his mind a while ago but wanted to save it as a surprise for me coz he knew this day was coming up and he would be there for it!

So WE ARE HAVING A BOUNCING BABY.......BOY!!! Now if I see an adorable outfit for a boy I can pick it up and not have to worry!!! :7

Just thought I'd share my news...seemed an appropriate place to do that!

Have a great day, ladies!

Hi Wendy! How exciting:) My little guy didn't cooperate at the first ultrasound-his head was buried, so I had to go back two weeks later, and everything was fine. I am so glad everything went well for you today. It is so exciting to finally see your baby. Now, I couldn't tell what a lot of the stuff was that the lady was showing me, but when she got to his face, it just became so real. I'm looking at his picture right now, from the ultrasound.
There are a lot of cute boy things to buy}(
Take care!

Hi Wendy -
How exciting! Reading your post reminded me of all the sonograms I had and how amazing it is. I'm sure it won't be too long now before you start feeling your baby boy. That is even more exciting and amazing!

Conratulations!! We almost didn't get to find out what our son was at our ultrasound. I was having braxton hicks which were restricting his movements...I couldn't even feel that I was having them. At the last moment he gave us a 2 second peak, just in time for her to take a picture of the "manly parts." That's even what she typed on our ultrasound pictures!!

Wendy,

Congrats!!!!! You can see so much on u/s now. I said my DS would look like my DD based on the u/s and he did when he was born.

Take care!

Congratulations, Wendy!

I was totally fascinated with watching our little one up on that screen. I can now feel the kicks my baby makes, so hold on- you will too!
