H*A*T*E-Weekend

Hey there!

I only have a minute, and I wouldn't be here at all except, Jennifer, your post made me feel kind of bad :p -- lol!

I reserve weekends for my DH. He works long hours through the week so when he's home on the weekend I don't like to spend time on the computer -- I do enough of that Monday - Friday ;). Anyway, we had a lovely day yesterday. We got up early, had a bite to eat, then DH took off for a massage while I did my workout.

After he got home we went to lunch at our favorite Italian deli. As we left the deli he asked if I felt like stopping by the florist. There's an amazing floral shop -- it's like a wonderland and I adore it! (This is the same shop where I got my Christmas tree -- the one that met with an unfortunate accident at the hands of my DH ). He said they were having a sale and he thought I would enjoy stopping by. Well, I knew something was afoot because I had just caught my DH in a lie -- if they were having a sale I would've known all about it http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/gotcha.gif

I knew at that moment that DH was up to something so I decided to draw it out of him by making a fuss and refusing to go http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/evilgrin.gif . I could see him getting all hot a squirmy and eventually he broke down and spilled the beans -- he ordered a bouquet of flowers for me and we had to pick them up http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/bouquet2.gif (he didn't have them delivered because we weren't home). You guys probably think I'm a horrible, evil shrew! I just can't help myself sometimes :p . He has to get up pretty early in the morning to fool me -- especially when it comes to a sale at my favorite florist ;-) LMAO!!!

I must say, my DH can be a real cutie patootie sometimes http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/loveshower.gif

We went out to dinner last night then collapsed in bed around midnight. We haven't figured out what we're doing today yet. I want him to do a workout x( . I'm going to do a segment from Classical Stretch. I've completed 2 weeks of the P90 program and I'm happy to report that I am looking slimmer, although the scale hasn't moved much x( . We might go to a movie today, too -- Elizabeth: The Golden Age http://www.elizabeththegoldenage.net/

I have to sign off for now. I hope you all have a great Sunday :) . August, sweet dreams http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/nightf.gif

I'll see you all tomorrow :*

Hello Michele and August.

Glad to hear from you both.

Nick, who's back on to communicating with me on Match, finally came to Cathe.com. He used to be a PT. He's very impressed.

My on-going cold with chronic bronchitis is improving then I goes backwards. The weather doesn't help. I get a workout in yesterday but not today.

Today's been alot of laundry, emptying dishwasher, putting clothes away,etc...

Michele-You have yourself a fine man there. Hang onto him. Sorry that I made you feel bad.

August-Your cats are support staff when it comes to cat naps. Seville and Madrid always come through for me and they help take the guilt away too.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Michele: I just read your post from last week: I'm still lurking. However, I may be back in the saddle again, quite soon. :) Life is better.

Terri
