G'mornin!!

No can play this morning, but I wanted to get us started anyway. I did the chest and back work form Cathe's 4DS last night and HOLY WOW!! I LOVED it! I'm so glad I sprang for this set. I did a walking DVD for my cardio.

I made my lentil soup and that's what I'm eating the rest of the week. DH and I will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary this weekend :+ , and I plan to eat lentil soup everyday so I can splurge without guilt for our anniversary dinner.

I have to run but I'll BBL :)

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO :* :* :*

Happy, happy anniversary and calorie splurge to Michele and Dr Michele.

I'm hoping to do something cardio this evening but can't promise anything. I have to get my hair done after work, followed by grocery shopping to prepare for dinner guests on Friday. I don't expect to be home much before 6 and I'll be famished. It would be nice if someone had a nice hot bowl of lentil soup waiting for me!

See you later, haters.

Hey there!

I'm back in town but have been out and about. Flurry! Flurry! I wish it were a Dairy Queen Flurry! http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/eatdrink027.gif

Okay, I need your best kitty advice. LOL.

I have to go away YET AGAIN, urgh, from Friday to Sunday late night.

Do I :

1) Keep my squirrels at my place and Mom visits them 2 or 3 times a day
2) Keep my squirrels at my Mom's place with their other two siblings and hope they don't drive my Mom crazy
3) Keep my squirrels at my place and have my brother sleep over at my place while I'm gone

The fate of the squirrels rests in your hands! LOL.

JENNIFER - Great news about your bonus! Woo hoo! http://bestsmileys.com/money/1.gif Congratulations! Did you find some sweaters? And did you end up hooking up with Gary at the mall?

Ooh, you DID! YAY! And tons of sweaters, too! YAY!

>sunday, I might be someone else at church

LMAO!! I love this typo. Yes, I think you should definitely go in disguise. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/merv/rofl.gif

MICHELE - Oh, how nice to have some time on the weekend with your sister! I'm sure you guys had a great time with lots of talk and release.

And then you probably had a ton to clean! LOL.

>I did Jari Love's Get Ripped workout yesterday and I woke up with full body DOMS this morning. August, why did you think I wouldn't like it? I actually like it better than S&L.

That's great! I'm so relieved you like it LOL.

When you asked me if I thought you should get it, I totally thought you were being sarcastic, since it was after talking about having so many unopened workout DVDs, so when you said you'd really ordered it, I was shocked!

I like it waaaaay better than S&L. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/angelic003.gif

What? You might have a cold? Too much partying with sis?!

Mmmmmm NPB.

Oh, Michele, your 23rd anniversary! How wonderful!! Congratulations!! http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/love047.gif

Mmmmmm. Lentil soup.

JEN -

>Anyway after they all left I fell asleep and ended up staying there so just walked in the door a couple minutes ago. He didn't let me leave until I drank a protien shake- he isn't happy with my eating, or non-eating habits

Ohhhh, I think he's very happy with SOME of your non-eating habits. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/merv/rock.gif

>I was in so much pain when he was "working on me", I think he enjoyed it!

http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/merv/crazy.gif

ROBIN - Did the pizza appreciate your efforts to get beautiful for it?

That's great that you were able to join in on the Halloween party. I remember you talking about that last year. And Tristan's pants are falling down! He lost weight? Good for him!

DANA - Yay on your weekend! It must have been heavenmondous!

>It is really good on toast but even better on top of vanilla ice-cream

Oh no.. I never thought about putting NPB in ice cream.

ETA : If anything sounds strange or dated, it's because I wrote this over the course of several days. :D

Hey haters, pardon the personals but I am so tired. http://smileydatabase.com/s/858.gif

I let Storm out when I got home from work and normally she comes in about 7-8 for her shrimp then back outside until about 9-10 depending on how cold it is. Well, last night my neighbor left a message for me saying that something was in my evergreens that her dog was VERY upset about and she had never seen him so upset. Well, after that lovely message Storm proceeds to not come back in at all last night. I seriously think I only slept maybe 30 minutes last night, I was worried sick. She still wasn't home this morning. I called Rita on my way to work & she said she was going to be gone from 9-12:30 but would look for her from 8-9 & then again when she got back home- she is SO nice and loves Stormy! At 9 my cell phone rang and it was Rita saying as she was leaving she glanced over at my place one more time and there was Storm on my front porch... :) So, I left work and ran home & let her in, she was fine - she never does that though and it was like 20 last night and windy.

I am taking off at 4 today and going home to do a premix of KPC/L&G I believe then doing NOTHING!!! I was so stressed and worried about her I am mentally drained also. Chad offered to come and help me look for her too, he is too nice to me- luckily though she showed up. She is grounded and will not be going outside tonight! ;-)

OMG!!! Did you guys read the blog update!?!?!? :D

I LOVE the picture of Cathe they posted with the update -- LMAO!!

My credit card is ready :D

Thanks, everyone, for the anniversary well wishes! We're keeping it simple -- just going out to dinner. It will be so nice to have an evening out. We haven't seen much of each other lately and I'm really looking forward to sharing some good, quality time together.

Robin - Come on over -- the soup pot is on and I have a piping hot loaf of Italian bread to go with it http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/eatdrink056.gif

What's going on Friday? How many people are you having for dinner and what'cha makin!??

I'm sending happy hair vibes your way ~~~~~~~~~

Did you do have time to squeeze in a cardio workout?

Augie Doggie - Okay, cut the DQ Flurry talk. Don't you know Robin and I are involved in the 10# meltdown and several other clean eating challenges!? -- LMAO!!!

I vote for either #1 or #3. I think the squirrels prefer their own home. I also think it promotes a sense of calm -- lol!!!

As for my ordering Jari Love, I can totally understand why you thought I was being sarcastic. I do have a lot of unopened DVD's :p, and God only knows what's hiding in the back seat of my car  :p

As it turns out, that DVD was probably a wise choice for me. I like the way Jari gets to the point. It goes pretty fast, too. I just started using Cathe's 4DS so Jari is on the back burner for the next month at least.

{{{{{Jen}}}}} -I'm so glad your Sport came home. I would be pretty upset if my Johnny left and never came home. Thank goodness he's strictly an indoor kitty, although he has a couple of very good hiding places inside;)

There's no 2 ways about it, Chad appears to be a GREAT guy. You should probably take your stylist out for dinner to show your appreciation for setting you up -- LMAO!!

I better sign off. I was out and about all day and I haven't done my workout yet, which will be legs and core from the 4DS. By the way, this is WEEK SIX of following a rotation

I'll see ya'll later:*

Hello Haters.

How are you? Just a late check in tonight. I plan to do an old school workout again tonight like Jane Fonda or Reebok AeroStep (one of the better ones).

Well, my vote is for #3. The squirrels will do better at home.

Well, taking a few days more of Match.com. My niece passed away two years ago today. My grieving hit two weeks ago pretty hard. I remember that day clearly.

We had flurries today but supposed to hit 50 by Sat.

{{{{{Jennifer}}}}}, I can't begin to imagine how difficult it would be to lose a precious niece. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You sure have had a lot of stress and heartache in your family recently. I'm inspired by your strength and determination to to keep going, as well as your general good cheer. Hang in there :*

Jen, I'm so glad there was a happy ending to the Storm story. Maybe she got shut in somebody's garage or shed overnight.

Jennifer, Hugs over the lose of your niece. What a hard row your family has had to row.

Michele, the soup sounds lovely, but I just came home and stepped and now it's time to crash. I'm even too tired to get any dinner. I had a granola bar and an apple on the drive home. We're only having two over for dinner, unless Jay and Emily join us. It is my DH's best friend from work (We call him "Daddy's boyfriend) and his fiance. They are the couple we went to Washington with the summer before last. I'm making the salmon recipe I posted on the OF challenge. And a cherry pie. :9

August, I agree about the keeping of the kitties at home votes. They have each other for company.

OK, I'm starting to get chilled. I'm going to get out of these sweaty clothes and pack tomorrow's lunch. Night.

Hello Haters.

Hugs back to you all. Thanks for allowing me to share once again. Two weeks ago, I vented more about Maddie here and it helped.
Tonight, I treated myself to some good old fashioned Reebok AeroStep. The workout is harder than it appears. There are two over the top combos, one slower and one faster with more power. Thurs. night might be some CherFitness with Keli Roberts. Fri., Simply Step or my oldest Jane Fonda.

Have a Great Night.
