Good morning!

I've had a leisurely start to my day http://planetsmilies.net/eat-drink-smiley-7838.gif . Fridays are kind of nice because DH tends to sleep in a few extra minutes and leave a little later for work, giving us an opportunity to talk and have breakfast. We had a nice dinner last night -- instead of going out we opted for carry out in front of the TV. I recorded the entire PBS series on WWII and we watched part of it while we ate.

I did CC V4 and the ab section from Sweat Cardio 1-2 yesterday. Sculpt 1-2 is on tap for today. Two weeks into the P90 program and the monotony is setting in. It's a good program and I like Tony, but I need to mix it up a little. I just can't do the same thing over and over again for 90 DAYS -- UGH! Maybe I should go ahead and start Sculpt 3-4. You know what I need? I need a good Cathe muscular endurance workout like ME. I think I'll do that one next Wednesday to switch things up a bit. Besides, I really love that workout :D

So far DH has only done ONE P90 workout x( . I had such high hopes since the workouts are short, darn it! Thursday is his only short work day, but he didn't get home until almost 7:30 last night. He's been trying to squeeze in a walk on his lunch breaks but he only managed to do it once this week. He'll have time to do the P90 weight circuit this weekend. Jen - - thanks for the kitty bathing email -- lol!! I remember giving my kitties baths when they were babies. They looked like drowned rats -- LMAO!!

So what'd you have for dinner last night?

Robin - Are you feeling better today? My heart went out to you yesterday. It all gets to be a bit much sometimes, doesn't it? I've been a little down, too, and trying hard to be perky despite all that is falling apart around me. I swear, every one of my siblings has major big bad sad things happening, and it's so hard to feel happy when the people you love are suffering. I wish I could make their problems go away. *SIGH*

Are we doing a newlifediet today -- LMAO!! Despite 2 weeks of faithfully executing my P90 program, I have managed to gain weight and inches :eek: x( ;( :-( . Can someone please explain this to me, for crying out loud!!

Jennifer - I was so glad you popped in for a minute yesterday. I was starting to worry about you. Wow, it sounds like you've been through the wringer. You should probably ease back into your workouts slowly. I hope next week is better for you.

Hello to Diane, Dana, August, Shelley, and any and everyone else I may have missed. What are you guys up to today?

I'm going to research a few recipes for next week. We have damily coming in for my MIL's 80th birthday so I'll be pretty busy and probably won't have a lot of time to post. Y'all take care and I'll BBL to see if anyone is around :* :)
 
Hey Michele, the weight and inches ARE MUSCLE. Yeah, right. I've heard that before too. I think it's fine if you mix it up. In fact, I bet it's better to mix it up. I'm sorry your DH doesn't have more time to workout. I'd hate to have his schedule. Talk about grueling.

Hey haters, I'm going to Philly Monday for a conference on Tuesday. The company sponsering the conference is paying my hotel and it's near the airport, so I'm planning on leaving early, early, early Monday morning (3:30-4!!!) to get to Cathe's gym in time for her kickbox class. I've already called to be sure she'll be there. I'm not sure what to do with the rest of the day, but I'm thinking about heading to the art museum. Maybe some shopping. Dinner Monday is on the company, then the meeting on Tuesday and I'll be home by bedtime. Can you tell I'm a little excited?

I have to run for a bit. Some housework is required. Later haters.

I had about a 3 paragraph reply all typed up when my computer froze and I got the recurring Blue Screen of Death :-( . I haven't seen much of that pesky grim reaper lately http://bestsmileys.com/dead/7.gif , and had high hopes for a little more glitch free usage. I really really really don't want to spend money on a new computer right now ;(

I know part of my problem...well...ALL of my problem right now is diet related *SIGH*. The old sweet tooth has a tight hold on me and I've indulged it almost everyday for the past 2 weeks :eek: . On top of that I've been going through this phase where I've lost my appetite for veggies :eek: :eek: ;( . Does this ever happen to you...anyone? I'm sure I'll start to crave them again but right now I'm not the least bit interested in fresh veggies or salads. Lately all I want is pasta or soup -- chicken chili (heavy on the beans) and other soups with vegetables, so at least I'm getting SOME.

I do believe it's [font color=red size=+2 face="comic sans ms"]PIZZA NIGHT!!! Yea! Yea! Yea![/font] :p :*

Ooh, that sounds like fun...I mean meeting up with Cathe, but not necessarily the kickboxing :p . I think I'd like to take Cathe to lunch or something and just relax, have a cup of coffee and chat -- LMAO!!! I'm glad you're doing this and I hope you have a blast :)
