I love this workout!!!! What can I do to modify the lower back moves (supermans?) on the bench and the upper back moves on the floor. I want to do something here, but what? I do not want to leave these areas out of the workout, please help!

I don't have this work out but if they are moves that have you lying flat on your back, you can create an incline by using a step and risers or a stability ball and do them that way. This is how I modify any weight moves that Cathe does lying down...

Have a great work out!

I think amazondotmom is refering to the prone exersice where you lift your arms and legs and look like superman flying. I don't think this move is easily modified. Maybe you could dead lifts with light weight but if your belly is really big this could be unsafe for your low back.

This is a really good question. What do you do for lower back exercises when pregnant?

I think the only way the superman exercise can modified is if you are on your hands and knees and alternate lifting right arm/left leg and left arm/right leg.

Deadlifts probably will work for the lower back and shrugs for the upper back-or do these work more of the shoulders? I am only 17 weeks at this point-maybe when I get bigger I can modify to by doing the lower back on all fours with the opposite leg and arm extended. Thanks for your input!
