Marla, I saw your Go Stars note in Jess's post about the states.
So yesterday morning we go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and guess who came in and sat down RIGHT NEXT TO US?? Mike Modano, and some other unkown (huge) hockey player. I felt bad that I didn't recognize the other guy, but Mike looked great. He looked a lot younger than I expected, and a lot taller than I thought he was.

Anyways, that's my star struck moment for the day. I thought it was pretty cool!

I loved all those guys! They are huge! And so fast. Now that's a real sport! I also admired that for the most part, they stay out of trouble (drugs) and help out in worthy causes.

Tom Hicks paid too much money for that lame baseball player, but wouldn't keep our team together.
