Just thought I would share with you, we got Lacey (our daughter) a new teddy bear hamster named "Hammy"! It has been around a month since the diappearance of "Brownie" and I believe he got outside through the basement cracks. "Hammy has turned out to be a very loving hamster. He lets Lacey hold him and he likes to be loved. "Brownie" was not too friendly and was very hyper and fast! He always jumped when we would try to hold him and even bit Lacey. He got lost because he busted out of the top of his cage. What I find amazing about "Hammy" is that he has pink eyes, long fur and is brown and white. He is twice the size that "Brownie" was, so hopefully if he gets lost we will be able to find him easier. I do not think he would wander too far. He seems to like his new home!
