Groin pull - How to recover?

Some of you will notice the thread I started earlier (my first) that I'm a new Cathe fan and just started working out with her Hardcore series this week. I'm an exercise fiend as I run 5-6 miles, 5 times a week and used to do The Firm 6 days a week (I now do Cathe instead, yeah!).

Anyway, I'm so bummed because I did one of her workouts on Saturday and Sunday and then also ran Sunday and Monday. Other than the choreography which I will learn in time, I can keep up just fine with her workouts. Halfway thru my run on Monday, I got pain and discomfort in my right groin. I've never had this happen before. I was able to finish my run, but hobbled around the rest of the night. I was able to workout with Cathe on Tuesday and Wednesday, as my leg felt a little better, and then tried to run last night. The first stride I took I had to immediately stop as I was in major discomfort again. So, I did not work out at all yesterday. :(

This morning, my groin feels better than it has all week. I'm hoping that I will be able to do a Cathe workout tonight and hopefully resume my regular schedule next week.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced a similar injury and how long it took to get better.

I can't believe it's only been since Monday that this happened. It seems much longer than that when I can't work out.
