Great Smoothie recipe

I recently received the new Firm BBS2 (I like it for those days I don't feel like I can give it my all) and actually have tried some of the recipes in the booklet that accompanied the system. Love this smoothie recipe as a late afternoon snack. I have adapted it somewhat because if you made it with the proportions they have it turns out HUGE!!!!!!!

1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
7 medium strawberries
1/2 banana
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 packet Splenda
2 scoops protein powder
Ice to desired consistency

You can omit the vanilla extract and Splenda if you prefer a more tart taste (the plain yogurt makes it tart, but the vanilla yogurt has so many more carbohydrates). I love this new treat and it's good for you as well.

Can't wait to try it with raspberries or blueberries!

Here's one I have before I workout in the early morning

about 1/2 cup of soy milk (the kind with added calcium)
1 banana
1 tablespoon grounded flax seed
1 tablespoon wheat germs
instant coffee to taste

Wakes me up and gives enough energy to do a Cathe video.

Past two weeks my bramble bush in the garden allowed me to add a handful of brambles as well. Great.
