Got Insanity?

I got the Insanity package from QVC last night! It arrived 6 days early! I did the first workout, I think it was called cardio plyometrics or something like that. It is a tough workout! I was able to finish but sure wasn't able to keep up with them during some of the drills. I don't remember the last time I've sweat so much. Honestly, I didn't even know my knees could sweat. ;) I definitely think they will take your fitness journey to the next level!

Does anybody know how many calories, approximately, are burned during these workouts?
 
I completed an Insanity rotation a couple months back and it was probably one of the hardest I have ever done but it was great! I just started using the work outs again today but this time I am using them in conjunction with the BBL rotation I started a week ago. I will use Insanity cardio in place of Cardio Axe and where ever else I decide to add on a cardio w/o for a little extra kick! ;) I can't help you on the calorie burn but can tell you that they are effective!
 
I think the claim for insanity is like 1000 calories per hour. I would like to see some folks calorie counts using a heartrate monitor though.

I finally got off the fence and ordered Insanity from QVC... I'm in a bit of a panic, but it gets such good reviews that I think I'll love it after I try it. Or maybe I'll just like it. Or maybe it will just be good for me and I'll like the results! :D
 
Oh my gosh!! You already got yours?? I'm soo chomping at the bit for mine to arrive!! I'm no longer scared... just eagerly anticipating my "new arrival"!! hahaha
 
YEAHHHH!! My UPS guy just delivered Insanity!! Woohooo! Can't wait to try it out tomorrow!!

I LOVE INSANITY!!!! My cardio endurance has increased and my plyo moves are soaring!!! I never reached the 10000 calorie mark during the workouts. According to my monitor I was burning around 500 calories the first month, then about 750-800 during the second month workouts. My heart rate spiked at over 225 on some of the drills and the puke factor almost interrupted a couple of the workouts in month 2..... gotta love that feeling.

Keep us posted on your workouts, it is soooo much fun and the feeling of accomplishment after each workout is amazing.
 
Mine came last night too! But we left this morning for North Carolina for my son's 3rd b-day party. I won't be able to try it for a week!!
