Judi - Like Catherine said, "sure you are!" Besides you may not want to curl 25's, DH is always commenting on how big my arms are. (Just between us, I think he's jealous!:p LOL!:p) Sorry that you may have to give up karate, I know how you feel. I may have to give up piano for financial reasons.:(

Catherine - Happy to hear you could get through a workout with shoes on.


I on the other hand, hope she does not come out with anything new any time soon. I do not need to want one more thing that I can not afford.:confused::p!

Oh forgot to tell you, that I have developed some kind of bizarre pain in my right hip today. Bizarre because it came out of the blue. Workout was great, no problems, then later in the morning was sitting at dining room table, got up to get something for DD, and BAM all of a sudden pain in my hip when I walk. Hasn't gone away all day. :confused::(:confused::(:confused:

Chins twice this week

I'm hangin' in & being faithful to the dreaded chins -got 2 sessions in this week. I've been real careful not to cheat and have just a slight bend in my arms, so my top sets were only 4 reps of non-assisted. However, my guns are really lookin' more defined since I started back in - pushups & chins are all you need as I keep preaching. For a real lower body blast this week I did Mindy's Gliding Cardio Crazy DVD and my legs were sore for days! Those Gliders are fabulous workout tools.
 
Was tired when I woke up and did feel like doing anything. Now normally I get right to working out but this morning got to talking with DH and didn't get to work out til about an hour later. At this point I was hungry! So that just added to the zero energy. Then hip felt pretty good but didn't want to do anything crazy. Did 4 DS LIS & Combo Only Premix from IMAX 3. Pretty mild workout if you ask me. Anyway hip did fine. Workout was 53 minutes and burn 359 calories.

Unfortunately, this was apparently a mistake because now the hip is screaming at me, but fortunately just when I move. If I stay seated I am okay.:confused: Sure would love to know what happened?:confused::confused::confused:
 
Cakebaker, wtg on those chins!! Gliding workouts huh? That sounds like it would be tough. I've done a few of the gliding moves that Cathe does and they are hard!!

Linda, so sorry about your hip :( It really stinks not even knowing what in the world happened.

I took a class with Katie this morning. Usually I do a pt session with just me and sis. Today I actually did a regular class. I prefer the pt sessions lol!! But I felt better about my progress watching others in the class. I know I am not supposed to b watching anyone else, but I can't help it :eek:
 
I did Rythmic Step this morning then took the dog for an hour walk. It is so nice here today, temps heading in the 60's and sun is shining:) I've worked out every day since last Sunday so I'm taking tomorrow off to prepare for week 3 of Meso 2:confused:.

Linda- Where is the pain in your hip? Remember, I had hip pain about a month ago and it was right on top the pelvic bone. Massage really helped as I think it was tight muscles pulling me out of whack. Frustrating, I know! Hope it gets better soon.

Catherine- I prefer private sessions too since I also find myself watching and comparing myself to others:eek: It's human nature, right? How did your foot handle the class? Did you wear shoes?

My DD comes home tonight from her spring break trip to Mexico and I can't wait to see her. I really missed her even though she can drive me crazy sometimes:eek:
