Good news!

I had my U/S yesterday to check the baby's spine and everything is OK. I was so worried. Everything is just how it is supposed to be. He has also turned so he is no longer breech and even though the placenta is still a bit low, it is nowhere near the cervix. I am so happy and relieved!

Dana, that's great to hear!! It's so hard not to worry. I'm glad the placenta has shifted for you. I think it will only continue to move up, as the uterus grows. Sounds like you're out of the woods!

Wendy - you're right that the baby's position is only an issue by the last month or so. Until at least week 28 the baby is really free-floating in all that space, and changes position all the time. I recently read the the most movement is felt between weeks 24-28. I'm not sure why any doctor would even mention "breech" positioning to someone early in the pregnancy?
