<--meant to tell Ame that Corporations is really interesting and the case law is fascinating!
<--tells Ame, in case it comes up in her class, that the corporate form is only used for large businesses in today's world
<--has a lot of small businesses as clients and they have mostly converted over to "LLCs" which stands for Limited Liability Company
<--says it's all the rage now ;-)
<--says the LLC is a relatively new animal, and there is almost no case law, but it is wonderful for the small business owner because it combines the best of all worlds in terms of taxation, liability and flexibility
<--apologizes for boring everyone!
<--must be off either to the gym or the office
<--hasn't decided which ;)

ETA: <--is glad Ame learned aboot LLCs because whatever kind of practice she may have in the future, she will almost certainly be dealing with LLCs in one way or another :D
 
<-- had to laugh when posting that about the case book and LLCs since the cases are all from random states like Tennessee :D so it's a little piecemeal
<-- didn't know before last week that there is some sort of tax law dealing specifically with estates and gifts
<-- has been trying to figure out what tax law Nance was reading aboot 6 weeks ago
