I thought that I'd post and give you some good wishes for tomarrow's trial class. I'm sure that you will do awesome! It's the people taking that class that I'm worried about. LOL!
No, really, good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Kathy

Well, I don't really know what this is about, but hey, I'm always willing to toss out my best wishes! Good luck, A-Jock!

Michele

ha, ha! I forgot to mention that A-Jock is doing a trial class for the gym that she teaches aqua aerobics in. It's a boot camp class! Now, aren't you scared for the people taking the class knowing what we know about A-jock and her mish moshes? LOL!
I think that those people are in for a real treat. I wanted to go so badly, but family b-days arrised.

Kathy

Now that you've clarified matters, I think it might be more appropriate to send our "good luck" wishes to the class participants!--LOL!

Rock the House A-Jock!!}( I almost feel sorry for them......... almost..... I love the Saturday morning crowd at the gym, the class is filled with people who love to exercise and just plain old want to 'give 'er'! They're gonna love it! All the best, can't wait to hear how it goes!

Take Care

Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh . . . major sheepishness and guilt on my part, Kathy and Friends . . .

I guinea-pigged my "trial class" a couple of weeks ago, and the realization hit that I am nowhere near ready to Go Land, as we aqua instructors like to say. And because of some really torrential work volume that has fried my time AND my brain cells in a way that leaves nothing left over for creative growth and practice, my coordinator and I decided to post-pone it. I do hope to give it a whirl within the next few months, but now is not the time.

It's been an interesting experience - I remember what a shock to the system it was Back In The Day to segue from being a follower-participant to being a leader-instructor - a whole new world. And it gives me a renewed appreciation for Cathe; how she can continually come up with such creative and effective land workouts is just amazing.

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes! I'll let you know when I've scheduled it again.

A-Jock

It's probably for the best, A Jock. You'd get all dried out being out of the water that long. :D

I have been teaching Sunday School this year, sort of got roped into it as no one else would take the older kids, anyway, having had no prior teaching experience of any kind...it has been an 'awakening' for me also. I only have to prepare a lesson for one day a week...and that's battle enough with the rest of my life...I don't know how full-time teacher's find the time to plan their lessons for 5 days a week. And also, just trying to keep the kids on task is 98% battle, 2% success rate.
