I did both the Tamilee Webb & Madeleine Lewis stretching DVDs last week, but only once, so this is a "first impression." I love the Banff, Alberta, mountain scenery in the Madeleine DVD, but I think Tamilee (also outdoors) talks more about form & where one should feel the stretch. I find that helpful. She also calls muscles by their names, whereas Madeleine doesn't get into specifics. I also like Tamilee's personality a bit more, but maybe that's because she talks instead of doing voice-over like Madeleine does. I think Madeleine's DVD is more calming-oriented. If you're a slow-to-wake-up sort of person, you might like the Madeleine AM Stretch. I'm a morning person, ready to jump out of bed & conquer the world as soon as my eyes open, so it seemed a tad slow to me. I fell asleep during her PM Stretch, but I was really exhausted. I could do everything but the downward-dog type stretches in Madeleine Lewis. My hamstrings are very tight, and I found I could get a better stretch from the Tamilee DVD. (She says she has tight hamstrings, too.) If I had to choose one now to buy, I think it would be Tamilee's DVD, despite her heavy eyeliner. But with more experience, my opinion might change. Production quality is good on both. Also, Tamilee's has 3 10-minute workouts that you can do separately or strung together. Madeleine's AM & PM are around 25 minutes each. Music must be low-key, because I don't remember noticing it in either.
