Gobbler Squats.

Anyone heard of this? We had a visit from friends last night and both of them go to the gym. DH's friend told me that he had a exercise to show me, they were called gobbler squats! I hope I am spelling that right.:)
You hold a db,(a heavy one:+ )holding the end of it up by your chin, then you squat down until your elbows touch inside of your knees.I think the palms of your hands are in under the db.
He said that they have seen great results with it. Its a exercise they do on a reg basis. Really helps the core as well.
Just wanted to share. I think I am going to add them in!

I do enough squats and such that cause me serious DOMS...I don't need another one!!!

I'll try it but it may be dangerous for the knees if you are squatting below 90 degrees! I'll have to see...

My knees and hip just both screamed at me 'Don't even try this!":7 Seriously, it sounds like a squat performed by powerlifters, wow, great if you can handle it, but be very careful with this one.:)
