Goals for June....

Stacy

Cathlete
Hi. There was a similar post on the videofitness forum so I thought I'd post one here too in case anyone missed it. I was wondering if everyone could share their workout rotation plans and/or goals for June. I'm in a motivational rut right now. I had lost 10 lbs and was eating cleaner than ever then I dont know what happened, everything seemed to fall apart! I have gained back some of the weight, and I'm ready to get back on the fitness bandwagon again! For June I plan to...

1. add another leg workout to my rotation
2. Eat Cleaner!!
3. Try out some new videos I have received (CIA 2203, CIA Cardio Options, Mindy's Energy Action Circuit and Cory Everson's Hard Shoulders & Arms)
4. Lose the few pounds I gained back!!
5. Did I mention Eat Cleaner!?

Thanks for sharing,

Stacy

Well, I don't have any plans for June as such but I was trying to improve a few things.
I am going to try to lose a few more pounds.Right now I am about 123 I would like to get down to 120.I have added alot more weights to my workout and trying to do less cardio. And of course I am going to try the eat cleaner part to.But last night I had way to many candy. And I am trying to get a lot more protein in my diet. And I eat every 4 hours.1500-1600 cal daily.
Hopefully I will drill this life style into my brain and will become consumed by it.

I'm going to try a few new things in June, too. My work schedule will change slightly, so I'm going to
1. Try working out in the morning before work

I'm also about to drop an order to Collage in the mail, so I will also
2. Try some new cardio--G-Force Super Step and Patrick 9906
3. Add yoga once a week (I have also ordered a yoga DVD)

I'm happy with what's happening with my body lately (seeing results and not feeling any twinges in knees or other poor joints), so I will continue with

4. PS 1x/week--cardio 3x/week--core and stretch 2-3X week

I hope you get your motivation back!
Wendy

Oh, yeah! It might have to wait until July, but I'm going to get at least one of the Powerstrikes!!! :-jumpy

Well, for June my goal is to get back to what worked for me in March. I was eating 3 squares and lost 7 lbs but then in April, I decided to fix what wasn't broken. I got all worked up about BFL (6 small meals) and just haven't done as well as I hoped.

Soooooooo, back to 3 squares/day, no starchy carbs after lunch (except on one weekend night) and no refined carbs, which I have continued. I'll continue my S&H rotation, but I'm gonna cut back on cardio from 6 days to 5 days/week. Also, I'm gonna be more diligent about floorwork. I'm supposed to be doing floorwork 2Xwk, but I've been lax about it.

Goal=drop one size. (From a 10 to an 8).

Hmmm...I'm preparing myself mentally for the heat and humidity. Heavy weight work will get shelved for the next few months, in favor of heavy cardio and some major flexibility training. My strength work will come from yoga and lighter weights, and I'm going to tackle Pilates.

Hi Stacy! I'm right there with you when it comes to making a goal to eat cleaner. My eating habits are just getting out of hand - especially every weekend.

I'm finding it harder to get back on track every Monday!

So....eating cleaner is definitely my goal!

HI!
My goals for June are...

1. Maintain Weight while on vacation for 10 days (all-inclusive resort.. LOTS of food & drinks) Plan to exercise for at least 20 minutes every day to keep weight gain to a minimum. Wish me Luck!
2. Jog 5 miles by June 30
3. Strengthen abs and core (after vacation)
4. Buy a new exercise DVD
5. Limit Ice cream intake ;-)

My big goal for June is to drop a size- from 12 to 10. I can't remember the last time I was that small!
Other stuff....
1. Forget I have a car whenever possible. I love to walk in the summer!
2. Eat cleaner. It's coming along, but I have problems with breakfast. We just don't get along.
3. I just ordered Mindy Mylrea's Ultimate Boot Camp Challenge yesterday. It sounds hard! That should shake up my rotation a bit.
