Gloves and nutrition software ?'s

Hi,

2 quick questions:

1. I am thinking about subscribing to the nutrition software here. I would like to see if I am getting all the minerals and vitamins, etc that I am supposed to get. What has your experieince been like with the software? has it been helpful? Is it easy to use?

2. I need to get new weight lifting gloves. I saw a pair here as well. Has anyone oredered them and used them? If so, do you like them, would you recommend them? If not, what brand would you recommend? I have a Harbinger pair I bought at Dick's. But I would not mind switching brands of there is something better out there.

Ok thanks for your feedabck!

Have a great holiday!!!

I love the nutrition software. I need to lose 40-50lbs and just started Nov 18. I wasn't really overeating that much but even 100 extra calories a day will make you gain a lb in a little over a month. In the five weeks I have lost 5 1/2 lbs. While that doesn't seem like much, in between there has been Thanksgiving, two Christmas parties and I have eaten out 7 times. (and I overate on all of the days.)
I try to plan what I am going to eat in advance, but during the day I make adjustments to keep the calories at 1400-1500, the top of the amount the calculator said to eat. I gained the weight slowly and want to lose it slowly.

I try to get the best grades I can but don't always get all A's. After you play with it for awhile you see somedays you are a little over a vit or min and somedays you are a little short. Their perfect meals seem a little boring and I like variety. You don't have to eat perfectly clean to eat a balanced and healthy meal.

I did have to enter some custom meals but that was easy to do.

Other people have mentioned other software to use but since I check-in on the forums I am more likely to regularly use this software.

You can try it for a month like I did, but I then signed up you the full year to save money.

I would love some input on weight lifting gloves too. I do a lot of circuit work and find my hands can get super itchy if I wear gloves during cardio. Any advice?

1. I love the software. It takes a little time to plan and record, but it is easy-to-use, and it does teach you how to make better choices as opposed to other nutrition programs where you are basically just tracking. This program is a littler "smarter" in that if you are low in a particular vitamin or mineral, you can get suggestions on foods to eat to meet those needs. For someone like me with a seemingly nonstop appetite , the remarkable thing is that I rarely go hungry when I use this program faithfully.

2. I use Nike lifting gloves that I bought at Dick's. I've been happy with them, but they're the only pair I've ever tried, so I'm not sure what might make them superior to any other. I haven't experienced any itching.
