Does anyone know about or have any experience in coaching girls lacrosse? I am soooooo stupid, but my 10-y.o. DD signed up for lacrosse and her coach fizzled into oblivion. The youth sports organization knows me because I foolishly volunteered to take on this junior drill team a few years ago. And my T-12 sisters know all about my Sparklette escapades.
So today prior to the game the "organizer" (and I use that term very loosely) called me to advise there was a new girl coming today and she was told to look for me -- only because the organizer knows me. Organizer then said she couldn't be there at game time, but would be there shortly after we got started. She wondered if I could just start rotating the girls in. You know where this is going ... she of course never showed up, and by game's end girls and parents were calling me Coach Benza. I am NOT the coach -- though something tells me that by the end of the season in November I'll still be saying that and they'll still be calling me that.
So --- does anyone have any links to girls lacrosse that you know are especially helpful. I'll do a google search, but I know absolutely ZERO about this game, other than the girls need goggles, mouth guards, and sticks. Why am I soooo stupid?
