My gosh, he's just the most lovely boy ever. His ears flop forward when he looks at you in a very adorable way.
He and Sophie fell asleep together in the back seat of the car on the way home and if I hadn't been doing breakneck speed on the highway, I would have taken a picture
She had her arm around him and he was all snuggled up to her.
When we got to the house of the adoption woman, we went out back and she let a bunch of dogs out, some hers and some she fosters. They ran around like maniacs, and I told Sophie "Charmaine has a lot of dogs, because she rescues them". She said "is that why we came here?". I told her "Well, sort of. She rescues them and finds home for them and I thought it would be nice if we gave one of them a home." It was perfect because Gilbert had his head in her lap at the time and she was patting him. I told her that we were bringing him home with us and she squealed so loud, the dogs all stopped what they were doing and looked Anyway, we filled out all the paperwork and did the long drive home (he got a bit carsick but managed to get it all on the blanket).
He just got back from a little walk before bed.
The cat seems quite interested and only hissed at him when he got too close to her.
