Gift for my boss?

Hey everyone,

I have been working for my boss for four years...we have an excellent working relationship and he is very generous at Christmas time. In the past, I have gotten him gift certificates to Brooks Brothers, Home Depot, and golfing gifts (he is an amateur pro), but this year, I am stumped. Any ideas??????

Not sure how much you want to spend or if any of these fit his personality, but perhaps a gift certificate for a massage, winery, car detailing, or a hot air balloon ride might be appreciated.

I thought about the car detailing, but he just bought a new one!!! I do like that idea a lot, though...maybe for the future...

I also like the winery idea...that might be the one!

My boss is also very generous - which makes it hard because I really can't compete with that -- so I usually bake. I think something from the kitchen is very personal! Maybe some wine - a nice wine opener - and some baked goods.

What about a gift card to a nice restaurant and a bottle of wine? Or if you like the idea of gift baskets, Harry and David and Wine Country Gift Baskets have excellent choices (although Harry and David charges a lot of delivery and extra charges)...

Here is a second vote for baking. My boss loves getting treats during the holidays. I always bake him cookies just for him so that he doesn't have to share.

We used to donate to a charity in our area called Clothe a Child in honor of my well to do boss who had everything. It made him happy to know the $$$ was buying a little one a nice warm winter coat, hat, boots, and mittens.
