Good morning,

Sorry, for not checking in yesterday, the power went out:confused: I been very stressed out the last few days. What stresses me the most out, are those house pices here in Harpers Fairy:( plus I don't even know if this is the place I wanna live for the rest of my life? DH and I came to an agreement, we are stopping looking for houses for the next 2 month, get a feel for the area/lifestyle a.s.o! I don't wanna rush into anything at this point! Maybe in 2 month we relize this area isn't for us, what then?

Also we got our first offer on our house in El Paso:rolleyes: that lady, thought we are fools, lol! She was cutting the price by a few tousend:rolleyes: DH was gonna sell it for that price:rolleyes::rolleyes: I was like, are you out of your mind? I told DH we are not going to sell the house under the market price. I googled the houses in our area, we were under the market price:rolleyes::confused: I don't think so:eek: We put way to much money into this house. The house looks brand new, unlike some house we seen!!!

I have not worked out since Friday, I was way to stressed out. Saturday we saw our friends in DC and yesterday DD invited us for brunch and I had a spa day (my mother's day gift from my DD)). That was sooo wonderful!! I love my DD!!

Not sure, what I will do today? I will be back later to report my workout!

Last night, very fast walk up the mountain to get to the top (6600 ft) before there was no light left. Lesson to self - I do not need to keep up with 25 year old triathlete coworker. He probable thought I was going to keel over from the heavy brearhing.

Belinda - the whole housing thing will work out!

Heidi - miss you!

Be back tonight - no mountain climbing planned.

Hey Sherry! Lol! Too funny on chasing that man up the mountain huffing and puffing. Ya that would be a test to your endurance! But hey you made it right? ;)

No workouts most of last week due to a guest taking up most of my time. Friday I did a run and yesterday I did a cycle, run and abs. Today I plan on upper and an easy run. Work as usual.... ;)

Good news!! Our house in El Paso is under contract, we are still waiting for closing...making sure everything is working out.

WO done! Legs feel like led so 20 min of iTread 1 was enough. Way too much to eat last night - shoud have known with the group that I went with.

Hi all!

Last night I tried to run again, to make up for the lack of run in the a.m., but ended up getting shin splints - ouch! So, tonight I took a 5 mile very brisk walk. Legs are feeling good, so may go at it again tomorrow. I'm traveling quite a bit the next few weeks, so really wanting to keep fitness in check.

Belinda - great job staying on track!

Heidi - hope all is well.

Good morning ladies!

Starting off the day with walking hill intevals - set at 10% on the treadmill. Got the glutes very engaged, and took that heart rate right up - thank you very much. Legs are feeling good, so I think I'll be trying to run again tomorrow. Right now, just about to check out of the hotel and head to the airport. On the road again next week, and that will involve driving - hence lots of sitting. However, I have walking trails in just about every town that I frequent, so that should help. Took a bit of work to find those, but so much better than the treatmill.

Belinda - what are your plans today?

Heidi - Hope all is well.

I just finished my workout. Did I mentioned I am watching my DD's little dog?? I took all 3 dogs for a 30 min run. They did very good! DH said when he saw me running with 3 dogs in the AOK campground, he wished he had a camera..so I can post it on the Cathe forum:eek: All dogs are beat:p

Off to the shower. BBL!
 
Rest day today - needed more sleep this morning. I don't think I'm sleeping very well when I'm on the road. So much nicer to be home in my own bed. Rest of the day was devoted to a Bat Mitzvah (ceremony and party because they are close friends) and errands. And because of the party, eating wasn't so good.

Belinda - would have loved to see how you run with 3 dogs. One is enough for me. Must be a bit cooler now for you to take them out.

Heidi - not sure where you are - busy as always I'm sure!

Oi!!! I can't wait until the 6th of July!!! I will finally have things back to normal on the 7th. Just super busy this month with family and my usual work.

I did a cycle workout and pyramid legs standing portion this morning. My workouts have been few and far between this month. :(

Belinda that must have been quite the site with the dogs! Too funny I would have loved to see that photo. ;)

Sherry now your back on your own schedule I can't wait to be there too. :)

Hope you were able to make a particular man feel special on this Father's Day!

Workout done this evening. Wonderfully cool with a nice breeze. Outdoor run felt great. Overall knees feeling good, just some aching in the joints, so didn't push too hard. Was about 4 miles of run/walking, more intervals with walking toward the latter part. Plus took the dog for a 1 mile loop before and then again after, so burning those calories! Used iTread Outdoor wo and that did help keep me motivated. Enjoying it. Eating off because due to the holiday, we had cake for breakfast (ice cream cake at that!). Obviously this is the area where I need the most help with discipline!

Heidi - Glad you could squeeze in a workout, and also stop by. I do find it amazing how life gets us all wrapped up sometimes.

Belinda - What did you do today? Another attempt at running with all the dogs at once?
