Hi all!

WO plans today are for sprints . . . and they are done! Followed by Total Body Stretching and I now feel wonderful!

Belinda - Throwing in a Body Rock - how'd that go today? Looks like you are signing up for another round of BH? Good for you!

Karen - How are the after effects of Afterburn doing for you? What are your plans today?

Heidi - Getting anything done or is a busy life getting in the way?


Our weekend plans - soccer tournament, local fair, my brother coming in down and homework - the kids are in school until mid-June. Still gotta get food in the house for the weekend, but at least it's now clean!

I've got vacation today through Tuesday. Back to work on Wednesday next week. I knew today would be nice outside and expected to get alot done outside. So I got up and Imax3 was supposed to be my Wo for today, but instead I believe I did BHs Body Rev Cardio? OMG, I was sore before I started....I am even more sore now. When DH got home we went for breakfast and did some running around and then I was pooped. I told him I needed a nap. lol Just got back up a few minutes ago. Feelin' lazy! My butt hurts so good though.

Belinda - No real plans this weekend. Some yard work, housework, some reading, maybe some shopping. :) How about you?

Sherry - Afterburn reminded me of the RT. Which by the way, I tell you how happy I am that you convinced me to go. It was such an awesome experience. It was so cool being around other Cathletes and meeting Cathe and you. :)

Sorry for not checking back in yesterday. After my workout, my DD Aleisa and I went shopping, went for lunch and had a Medicure:D had lots of fun.

Today we will do Yoga for the Worrior.

Where is Heidi????

Kirstin - how did you like BH's Body Rev? Stretch your sore muscles. Hope you feel better after that nap?

Sherry - did you get your sprints done yesterday. You are so good with your running. Good for you. DH wants to go to Arlington Cemetary on Monday. Other than that ....it's gonna be a realxing weekend.

Hey Everyone,

Today was Cathes Kickmax. I am not a huge fan of this one because it never seemed that hard, except for the blasts. However, I've changed my mind. I was drenched by the end of the WO today and I loved it! KPC is still my favorite, but KM is no longer on my "boring" list. I did have some issues with my right knee having some discomfort during some jumps. I noticed during Body Rev that it hurt too. I think my knees are just mad because of the low squat/hold things from BH's workout.....

Today started out with rain so DH and I went to the farmers market, got a drink at the cafe, and then hit up the outlet stores. Got some steals at columbia. We got back home and went out for a 4 short bike ride with the pup. I just finished the dishes and laundry. Time for dinner if you ask me!

Belinda - BH's body rev went pretty well. I started to zone out with all of the weighted swings he kept repeating, but over all it was a good workout. The modifier did whine quite a bit....tried to zone that out too! :p I hope you enjoyed your Yoga today. I'm thinking Heidi is on vacation??? (a vacation from checking in!) :)

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!

Today was Trisets Upperbody. Those tricep kickbacks in the plank position just about took me out! Annual race party at the neighbors so sat the relaxed for the afternoon. I don't know why its so hard for me to "relax". I feel like if I don't do something or get something done/accomplished that I "wasted" a day. Anyone else ever feel that way?

Yesterday I did Bob's Workout #2.. I been working out 7 day's streight, so today I will take a rest day. Still haven't decited what I will do tomorrow? I also interrested in the Butt Bible! I may add them in somehow?

Karen - glad you liked Body Rev. Yeah, you do have to zone out all that and all the drama queen on his DVD. LOL. Glad you and DH had fun at the famers market.

Where is Heidi? She hasn't checked in in days???

Today will be a quick check-in. I did Trisets lower body time saver premix, and also did the TurboKick exercises for the certification. I had to record myself on the camcorder so I can send it in. Kind of funny watching myself on the television afterwards. :)

The "storm" is finally starting to roll in. THunder and lightning. Gotta go watch!
 
Morning Girls!

Today is Tuesday! I haven't workedout since I can't remember when....Weds last week maybe?

This morning was a bike workout for 45min and 15.50miles.

My end of the week was very busy with work and this weekend was major yard stuff to do like cleanout the pool to get it ready for the summer.
I have a good sunburn too!!!!! Mostly my arms and shoulders.

Sorry I have been out of it lately. You are right Sherry...life just gets in the way sometimes. ;)

Karen: Nice job on trisets legs! How are they doing today?

Belinda: You have done awesome with your workouts and you deserve a rest day for sure! :)

Sherry: How was your weekend? Sounds like you had a very busy one as well. Nice job on the sprints and making sure to stretch after. :)

Still haven't decited what I will do today:eek: I just had bfast, will have to figure it out soon....Had to take DH to his PT before 8 am than, take him to work:) He got released from home PT and he can go back to work. Maybe I will get something done around the house. Didn't get anything done while he was home.

Heidi - are you still gonna do JM workouts? Good job on that bike ride.

Karen - nice job on Trisets today.

Hi all!

I need to look back to when I last checked in . . . on Saturday, I had to wait until the thunderstorms passed to go for a run. But behind the front was hot, muggy air. I could barely run 2 miles, and was embarressed a bit because my brother's girlfriend went out with me - keep in mind she's about 10 years younger, no kids, and athletically active. Oh well. The weekend was spent visiting with them, my aunt and uncle who live here in town, and going to a soccer tournament. DD's team lost in the finals. :(

I did get in a run late last night - about 10:00 and ran 2 wonderful miles, and would have run more had it not been so late. so, proven that I run much better when the air's a bit drier.

Today is a rest day - tonight is DS's Court of Honor for scouts. He'll get a few more badges, and is so close to getting his Eagle award - that's what he'll be doing this summer.

I'm enjoying the running, but want to get back to weights, too! In another week the schedule will lighten up a little bit.

Belinda -Can't believe DH is back to work already! What is the Butt Bible? Definitely need to check that out!

Karen - I'm glad I talked you into going to the RT also! Was so great to meet you in person and hang out with someone that I already knew! Glad you're back here on the forum, too! Loved the photos of Riley and the bike ride.

Heidi - Pool ready? Yard work defintely counts as a wo!

Hey Everyone,

Today was my "rest day". I had a vacation day today too. :) DH gave me a call this morning and told me to hop on my bike and meet him downtown at the cafe for breakfast. So off I went. When we got home we started doing yard work. (replacing a window well, re-laying pavers and trip to Home depot). I took a quick break for lunch and then went back at it. Go inside after 530 and took the pup for a walk. Now I'm ready for bed!

Great job getting your workouts in everyone! :)

HIGH REPS on tap for today! :) This requires no bench work so I don't have to lay on my sore burnt shoulders. LOL!

Karen: Sounds like a great day off but a busy one just the same. ;)

Belinda: I am doing JM...sort of. I have an issue with some joint swelling in my left foot. The middle and 2nd toes are bugging me for some reason. This makes it hard to do any sort of running or jumping right now. I can bike or do weights for now until it heals. Not sure what I did but it started last week around thurs.
Have a great workout with cardio today!

Sherry: Wow that was a late run last night! But hey you got it in right? :) I don't do well in the muggy air either. If it is like that I would rather run on my treadmill. ;)

Have you decided on what weight work you will do? I feel the same...I just need my heavier weight work. Jillian w/o's burn up the cals. but not using much weights is getting to me. I guess I am hooked. LOL!

Yikes! Every inch of me is screaming today! I had to break down and take some advil last night because the soreness was catching up.

Today was 25 minutes of Athletic Step (basically the first three combos) + Stretch Max with the band. Abs was also on schedule - so I will try to get them in later today.

Its back to work today and it sucks! :p

Tomorrow I will do a circuit workout, have no idea what yet? Maybe I do HR??

Good morning!

WO done! :D Sprint intervals, which at the end totaled 3 miles, followed by STS XStretch. Wanted to do that yesterday, but time got away from me. I'm working from home today, so was easy to get a wo in at a decent time, rather than before the sunrise. Today is DD's last track meet, followed by a weekend of soccer games, and then we are done with sports for a short while! Then only 2 more weeks of school, and life eases up! And DS is getting better at driving, which is also helping to calm my nerves. Life is good!

Belinda - Step Blast - haven't done that in quite a while - love that calorie burn! It is wonderfully cool out today (50 right now), so just had to take the run outside. How's DH doing now that he's back at the office? I'm sure it's wearing him out a bit more than working from home.

Karen - How sore are you today? And did you get those abs in? Would love to meet my DH for lunch sometimes, but we work in opposite directions. :(

Heidi - I actually love running about 9 at night, and the runs are usually great, much better than early in the morn, though today wasn't too bad. not sure about the swollen joints, but I agree with Belinda and be careful. not sure about which weight work yet, but it's gotta be something, and soon!

Now, to actually get some work done. Catch up with ya later!
