Getting it done for May 2014!

Good morning,

Woke up with a sore throat and my head is killing me. This weather is crazy, one day we have sunshine/warm the next day I turn on the heater in the house

Last night I also went for a nice long walk with the dogs.

Who is signing up for Cathe's Live classes today?

Sherry - fantastic job on that run/stretch last night.

I will be back after my workout. Today I will do P90X3 MMX and TriSets LB.

Oh Belinda! Sorry your not feeling well today. Is it allergies? I agree with you on this weather...just damp and raw one day and the next its in the 70's.
I hope that you got in your workout...if not maybe you needed a rest day. You will be better for it maybe. ;)

Tues and Weds were a bust for my workouts. Tues went to my Mom's to take her to an appt. Weds was catch up at work from not being there Tuesday. :/

Today I sort of made up for it... LOL!

Z online: Butt series #10...again Phew!

So with that maybe I made up for lost time....

Tomorrow I am doing LIS trisets lower body...well I think that is on my list. ;)

Did LIS TriSets Lower Body this morning, DH and I just finished P90X3 MMX. I also did a 10 min ab workout.

Heidi - thanks you! I don't have allergies! Been tested so many times. My sinus/ear is acting up. I think it has something to do with that. I was tired reading all your workouts:p High fives, girl!

Sherry - are you resting today? I hope so.

I have to pull one of Heidi's triple workouts day tomorrow. I will not have time to do LIS UB on Sunday? We shall see.

Today was:
Tri sets lower premix for 1 round each exercise.

Z abs 1 2ns set of exercises and only 1 round.

Z ropes beginner wo. 1 complete round. Did high knee skipping with jump rope.

Then! 3:34 mile hill run! Oh my that topped of my glutes!

:)

I have DOMS everywhere!

This has been a crazy week, and looks like it will continue for 5 more weeks. DS is finishing his senior year, and it's one thing after another. And DD is busy as always. Waiting to come up for air when it's all done. This has not been an "active" recovery week in the sense of wo's, and seriously wondering if I'll be able to do STS before school gets out.

Belinda - You are doing a fantastic job on your wo's - keep it up! How are you liking the lean rotation compared to the regular one? So sorry your sinuses are bothering you again.

Heidi - Wow, that's quite a wo! Not sure I'd have the energy to do anything else after all that!

Karen - Waving hi!

I hope you all had a lovely Mothers Day yesterday.

It has been a stressful and sad weekend here...

Saturday I did a bike workout. Then went to my Sisters to say goodbye. She really put her all into trying to survive this cancer that spread from her breast to her liver. After many rounds of chemo her liver and kidneys finally cut out.
All of this started after the terrible motorcycle accident that took the life of her husbands back in 2010.

Sunday: Got a call at 7am from my Brother to let me know that she passed away at 12:26am. I went right over to my Mom's to give her the sad news and be with her.

Came home around noon and immediately went for a hard 5.6 mile run. The rest of the day was just hanging around the house doing the usual weekend chores.
My DD came over last night and we had a campfire until 11PM.

Up early this morning working on paperwork so I can get in my workout before leaving for work.

Belinda: I hope that you are feeling better!

Sherry: I hope that things settle down soon for you! I remember back in the day with my kids how the last couple of months of school were the toughest and busiest.
Get in what you can..run or do half a workout with STS.

Off to finish up and get my butt moving towards my workout. It is the only thing that keeps me going...

Today I started week 6 of P90X3 and 4DS. I did Triometrics this morning as my cardio and 4DS Chest & Back. I will keep my workouts no more than 60 min tops. Roxie.

(((Heidi))) I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. Is there something I can do? WTG, on that run.

Belated Happy Mother's Day to both of you.

I spent Sunday in the garden, pulling weeds, and dividing/moving plants around. Finally the area around the patio us not just a dirt pile. Timing was good too, because it's lots of rain heading into cooler temperatures which is perfect conditions for them to root.

If DD's soccer game gets cancelled, I hope to get in a run. Course, if it's cancelled that because of the thunderstorms, so will be on the TM. I am going to try to continue STS. I think I'll like M2 even more. And it will help me keep my head on straight. Yes, it is that very crazy time of year.

I didn't report my workout yesterday:
XT burn sets for chest, back and shoulders. Went heavier to really kick it in.

Today's workouts:
XT All Out Low Impact HiiT with core 1

Also a Z summer abs #1 workout:
6-pack Summer Abs Workout # 1: Breakdown: 3 rounds for TIME:

15 Standing Weighted Cross Crunch [each] first round on this I used 15#KB had to drop to 10# because it really gets your shoulders.
20 Seated Twists
10 Elevated Step Overs -- Plank Knee Tucks
10 Leg Elevated-Weighted Bridge Sit-Ups

Karen: I hope that you are hanging in there! :)

For next months rotation I decided on XT 90day undulating.

Hi all!

I'm still here. All AP testing is done for the kids. DS is now 18, as of yesterday. Squeezed in passing his driver's test the other day (he's not the kid interested in driving, but his sister is anxiously right behind him). Today is his Eagle Scout ceremony. He also got a bad sore throat earlier in the week, which caused us to run to the dr. because we didn't want a repeat of last Feb when it turned out to be tonsillitis. It's now become a nice head cold. And DD still has lots of soccer games and practices, with continuous rescheduling because of the pouring rain and bad field conditions. So, pretty much, life is normal around here, right?

No wo's for me, though. Wondering if I'll get in one tonight or just collapse later today.

Both of you are doing better than me. Keep it up.

Now, gotta run - last minute details for this afternoon to complete. Catch ya later.
