HI!

Yes, I've been MIA - some long days with work and kids. Finally sunny here, so will be taking the dog for a walk shortly when DH gets back from his run, and then another good stretch and roll-out for me. Legs have been tight, but probably has to do with lots of sitting in the car time (one day work trips).

I've conceded that I'm just not going to finish my Insanity rotation (2 weeks left), so starting Monday I'll be waking at 5:00 to do the (shortest) timesaver versions of XTrain. I need to be hitting the shower by 6, and that just wasn't happening with ShaunT. Plus, I've missed weights.

I also renewed my company gym membership - it's free. I might be able to get in 30 minutes of something at lunchtime - that's the goal, anyway. A coworker joined with me, so hopefully we can motivate each other. It's just not close enough to get there before of after work cause I'm running with the kids.

Biggest commitment issue is the diet, so I've started perusing the Paleo diet books DH picked up. Gotta do something.

Belinda - Glad you finally got those missing discs! You are getting back with it - I'm sure it feels great.

Heidi - Nice job on the DOMS! 2 days in a row of weight work! WOW!

Sorry for not checking in yesterday, had a busy day. I lost my Fitbit in Costco on Saturday. Not every happy about that:mad:! Yesterday we did take the dogs for a walk.

Sherry - I hear you on the diet, gets me all the time. Yesterday DH and I went to Olive Garden. Need to get better. That's fantastic abut your company gym membership.

Hi all!

Took the dog for a walk and did Total Body Stretching plus rolled out the legs. Getting ready to head to bed soon, 'cause I am getting up tomorrow morning for XTrain!

Eating - went to the grocery store today, and bought all good stuff. Have my food log printed out, ready to keep me honest. I've planned my meals to be something like this:

breakfast - eggs, oatmeal
snack - fruit, greek yogurt
lunch - lean meat, salad
snack - almonds, raw veggies
dinner - lean meat, steamed veggies
snack - cottage cheese with just a little flavored yogurt for taste

Eating those things isn't the issue - portion control is. Hence the log.

Belinda- Oh no about the FitBit - did you find it? Very frustrating! I don[t know about you, but I am so tired of walking the dog in the cold and wind. I am so ready for warmer weather. As for the gym membership, we'll see if I can get there often enough to make it worth it. Distance and time are the issue.

Heidi - Hope you had a good weekend.

I will do TJ today, not sure which one yet? I never got a workout in yesterday, we worked around the house. It never stops! We got a lot done. DH finally put up all wall mount in my gym, now all my BB's are off the floor. Been bordering me since we moved in.

Sherry - your meals look good. Need to copy it. I hear you on the portion control. So far I haven't found my Fitbit. Doubt someone will turn it in. Woke up this morning, we are covered in snow. I am tired walking the dogs in this weather.

I did get up this morning before the sun and get in XTrain CBS - the shortest premix. I'm already feeling it in my shoulders - love it!

Belinda - I hear ya on the snow. We're only getting about an inch - most of it is swining south of us - but I am so ready for it to be over with. Enjoy TJ today!

Heidi - what are you plans for the day?

Forgot that we're going out for lunch at work today (I usually try to bring) to celebrate my manager's promotion, so portion control will really be key.

Belinda: What are your plans for today? Sorry to hear that you lost your FitBit device. I lost my cell phone the other day while out running many errands. I called around to every place I went to see if anyone turned it in. Finally the 2nd to last place I went they had my phone at the customer service dept. PHEW! It is very frustrating when you lose something that is important. I hope you have luck in finding it!
Which model did you have? Does it help with keeping track of your steps and calories? Would you recommend it?

Sherry: Nice job on XT! I hear ya on the shoulders.
ARGH enough with the snow already. We are due for more at some point today. I just want warmer weather so I can get out without sliding down the hills. The wind is strong and if there is any water on the roads it turns to black ice here. YUCK!

I didn't sleep very well the last couple nights.
Sat: No workout Rest Day
Sun: I did R 2.0 I like that one!
Mon: I have work but I am so tired right now I can't think of what to do for my workout today.

Good afternoon ladies!

Was way to achy (sp?) this morning, so rested, then headed over to the gym for 30 minutes of incline walking - great glute work. I hope to have time for Cardio Legs, but this evening's plans are changing as I type - due to cold, windy weather. I so want spring!

I still have't preordered Cathe's latest series. Do I really need more DVD's?

Heidi - glad you are hanging in there. Yep, we get the black ice here, too, which makes the commute loads of fun sometimes.

Belinda - what are your plans today?

We are due for some over night snow tonight and tomorrow night but shouldn't be a major issue tomorrow or thurs.

Good afternoon!

Well, never did get in Cardio Leg Blast last night, and was way too tired this morning for that kind of energy, but I did get over to the gym at lunch for a quick iTread #1 20 min and a stretch.

Tonight DD should have soccer game (no white stuff falling, so looks like it will really happen!) so not sure if I can find the time for this one.

Heidi - Great sweat with SC!

Belinda - did you get your sweat in?

Well, last night I was able to get in a leg wo - Cardio legs Strngth only premix - feeling it nicely today!

Today - lots of work - dog walk followed by 2 mile run/walk intervals, then Bi's & Tri's shortest premix, finished with an attempt at Core #2. Whew!

Belinda - How are your legs holding up? Been a long time since I did that one.

Heidi - What did you get done today?

Time to rest - think I earned it! Hope you did, too!
