Not sure, what I will do today? I have so many dvds to catch up on;)

I just saw a post on FB, that Sean from Cardio Coach passed away. I am so sad this morning. I can't believe he is gone. A few month ago Carola (hittdog) passed away and now him, so sad. I have tears in my eyes. Life is short!

I will be back later. Enjoy your workouts everyone!

GS BSB done! Didn't know how much the biceps were used until I was filling out forms for school stuff after the workout. My biceps are fried!

Belinda - So sad about Sean. Haven't heard what it is. But he was fit and young. So very sad.

Heidi - Hope you are ok.

Belinda: So sad to hear about Sean. :( Was this Sean from CC? If so, He inspired many for sure.
What did you end up doing yesterday? :) What are your plans for today?

Yesterday I did STS disc 22 as promised to start the week off right. Today is disc 20 legs.
I am feeling everything today! Upper and my legs from the outdoor jog/walk Sunday. My shins are feelng it the most everytime I flex my foot up. ;) I will do extra stretching for this area.

Hey girls,

Today was a rest day scheduled, but I decited to do CCV3 instead. I am still stunned about Sean. So sad! Life is so short! He was way to young:(

I just realized I never posted my workout yesterday. I ended up doing AB.

Heidi - yes, Sean from Cardio Coach:( So sad! Good job on D22/20, keep stretching!

Sherry - you worked those biceps good. Good for you. Those workouts creap up on you, don't they? You all know how much I LOVE Cario Coach workouts! That's all I do when I run! He will be missed!

Hi all!

Today was a run day. The wo was 400m sprint intervals. At least the legs didn't have any DOMS. They were still there yesterday, especially in the inner thighs, only mildly in the glutes. And despite the weariness last night, no DOMS in the BSB today. So funny that my arms were shaking when I was trying to write.

DS had the first track meet of the season today, and was way off pace. :( So I tried to emphasize there's no where to go be up. He's grown a lot this year, both taller and sturdier, and still hasn't adjusted to it, which is really frustrating him. There two more months of this, so we'll see how it goes.

Belinda - Nice run in memory of Sean on your rest day. I know how you like his CC's. I've never done them, but now feel like I missed out.

Heidi - Way to stick with STS, even with all those aches! Hope the shins are better. Those can really interfere with running.

Belinda: Nice run with Sean and even better burn with AB! ;) I too like those CC workouts. I use them with my bike or TM. I don't use them much outside because I need to be aware of my path. ;)

Sherry: Great training run! :) My legs are doing better and will do a run with my DD later today if the weather holds up. Looks like it will rain any second!
That is rough on quick growth spirts for the kids. It will take a little bit getting used to but I am sure he will get back in the swing of running with better form and speed.
Good luck to your son this season! :)

Well I planned on STS disc 20 legs yesterday but it ended up being a crazy day at work.
I will do it this morning and hopefully run this afternoon. :)

My plans are GS CT, and thankfully tonight is a quiet night so I should have no problem getting it done.

Good morning!

Not feeling much after effects from yesterday's wo - a little achiness, but that's wearing away with movement.

Tonight I cardio - a run of course - tempo run. Trying to up my pace, so we'll see how long I can keep at desired pace. I might be the slowest one, but I am trying to get closer to the rest of them.

What are your plans for today?

Long day out with my Mom today. I came home and took a nap. Hehe ;)
I have DOMS which are making sitting down a little difficult. Lol!

Sherry: how's the upper now? Nice job getting it done and enjoy your run tonight. I didn't get out yesterday for my run but will tomorrow for sure. ;)
How long before your upcoming race? Hopefully the weather will get clear for you to do more runs outside too. :)
Lol on the ever growing wish list. ;) I liked using the vest for that w/o. It is sort of a trick of the mind that your not adding weight but actually are. Do you know what I mean?

Heidi - How are your DOMS today? Sitting any easier? :) How's your mom doing these days? Think you'll get that run in?

Belinda - What are your plans today?

I did get my run in last night. Weather was that wet cold stuff, so I ran inside on the TM. I pushed the pace a bit for the first 2 miles but had to back way down on the third - I was done for.

Today's plans are GS legs. Looking forward to starting STS next week. Then maybe I'll get those DOMS that I've been looking for!

Biggest problem that I have is eating. I just don't like to cook. If I have 30 min, I'd rather squeeze in a run. Better start looking for crock pot recipes.

Ok, back to work. BBL. Have a good one.

Wow it turned into another busy one for me! I did get in sts 21 though.

Lol Sherry! I am still sore and feel it for sure sitting or going up stairs. ;)

Tomorrow I will run and do abs.

I hear you on the cooking and I live for new recipes to use in my crock pot. :) it just make life easier when things get hectic.

GS Legs done! Only did the weights since tomorrow is a run day, and I well remember how fried my legs were last week after weights so my run wasn't very good.

Heidi - Good job finding time to do your weight wo. Hope your weather is better for your run than ours will be. I don't want to complain about the cold, but . . .

I plan to follow the 6-1/2 month STS rotation, alternating weights with runs so I can stay on track for the 1/2 marathon in Oct. But first is the Chicago RT - can't wait to go!

Belinda - Hope you were able to get something done today!

Sherry: nice job on gs legs! How r they today?

Hi Belinda! How have things been going with you? Are you still attending classes at the gym? I know you have a lot on your plate coming up soon and just want to wish your DH well. :)

It rained most of the morning here so I opted for runervals 6.0 w/o a. My legs were a bit stiff starting out but loosened up by the 4min mark. Managed a good pace during the w/o which was 3x 6min on at 10k pace and 1 min breaks at BP.
I will do abs later with a longer stretch.

I found a site through a friend which has free w/o's online. I thought you'd be interested Sherry seeing you are on the road a lot.

I will try one tomorrow that has Pilates. ;)

Hi all!

I did get my run in earlier, but just getting a chance to report it now. Today was a long (for me) tempo run, so kept at my normal pace for 3 miles, which also included a 1 mile dog walk before and after. It's cool today, about 40, but no rain, so perfect for an outside run. Finished it off with STS XS. Legs are feeling really good today. I kept the weights the same as last week, so must have been the floor work that put me over the edge into DOMS last week.

The busy day we thought we were going to have disappeared into almost nothing. Yesterday we found out today's track scrimmage was cancelled because too many kids gone on spring break (our poor kids get to stay here because DH's break was a month ago), so was just practice. Late last night we found out DD's 8:00 game was cancelled, and when we arrived for her 9:00 found that was also cancelled. Bonus of all the cancellations was that I got my run in early. Been running errands since then.

Heidi - Good job getting in you run today. Yeah, I can Runnervals to the wish list, too. Are you still trying to add BBL to your rotation? How are you finding the time to do both?

Belinda - what do you have going on? Did you decide to join the gym? Did you like more classes?

Shopping with DS for clothes next on the agenda today. Definitely not his favorite thing. But he does need to go to try on jeans. If he'd only stop growing! Wish me luck.

Yesterday ended up beeing a rest day. Today I did CCPP in honor of Coach Sean!

Sorry for not checking in much this week. I been having a rough week, Sean passing. Today marks the 12 year when my dad passed away. I promise, I will do much better next week. I though, I couldn't make it through CCPP today, but I did.

Thanks Heidi! We all ran today, how cool is that! Good job today. Thanks for the website, I will check it out. Got any good recipes for the crock pot? How is your mom doing?

Sherry - hope you had fun shopping with your son! Sounds like you got some good runs in this week, good for you. When are you starting STS? You gonna do great with your upcoming race! Keep it up, girl!

Maybe I will do a yoga or stretch workout tomorrow. Waiting for Cathe to post a new rotation. Saw Debbie's and it looks fantastic!

Late post to say yes, my wo is done! GS BSB and CoreMax Seg 1.

Dinner tonight was lemon garlic chicken made in the crock pot - was absolutely delicious!

Heidi - checked out the website you mentioned - looks great for when I'm traveling!

Belinda - Great run on Sat! You have had a lot going on lately. Enjoy your rest day.
