Getting it done for March 2014!

I will do P90X3 Yoga X before I go to DC;) Hopefully I will get a nice walk in as well.

Thanks Sherry! I am following the Bodybuilding rotation that Cathe posted a while back. I made it a sticky on the rotation & check-ins. DH and I will finish P90X3 next week. Than we will take a week off (recovery) than start P90X3 Lean rotation. That will keep me busy:p High 5's on XT Legs last night , plus 100 rep hip thrusts.

Been pretty busy last couple days. I took Friday off to work on the house. Yesterday was the usual weekend stuff to do.

Yesterday DD was in a soccer tournament that started way too early, and they went to the finals, which was way too late, but they won it. Downside, no wo and lots of sitting outside in the cold (even some snow - really?).

Today's wo was sprints, which are done - Yay! Now to get on with the rest of the stuff.

Belinda - I'll need to check out the Lean rotation. I'm looking at the family schedule, and it will be crazy the next few months. Enjoy your day trip to DC.

Heidi - Hope your house is shaping up - ours doesn't seem to be. Enjoy SG!

Sherry: Congrats to your DD! Wow what a day/night you both must be exhausted. Don't like the idea of sitting in the cold/snow however.

Slide N glide cardio only premix

My Daily workout from TT day 1:
1.Run-in-Place — 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 4 rounds
2. Spiderman Climb Pushup — 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 4 rounds
3. Switch Lunge — 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 4 rounds (alternate sides every 20 seconds)
4. Burpee — 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 4 rounds
5. Jumping Jacks — 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 4 rounds

Then: Daily Hiit challenge day 30:
30 Seconds of work + 10 Seconds of rest
5 Exercises - 3 Rounds

1) Sand Bag Thrust
2) Knee Ups
3) Around the World
4) Long Jumps
5) Wide Swings

Nice sweaty workout! Tomorrow's plan: XT disc 1

Good morning,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday. Ended up taking Aleisa's dog to a vet clinic near us. Aleisa and her BF left for Florida Sunday morning. She usually leave her dog in her bedroom when she leaves, not yesterday. Somehow her dog got into my son's fiancé purse which was in the living room, got a hold of a pack of Orbitz gum and ate half the pack with rappers and all:roll eyes: We called Aleisa's vet, they told us to take him in right away. There is chemical in gum, it will not harm humans but will spike dogs blood sugar and can affect their liver. Aleisa takes her dog to Pet's Smart, they have a clinic they don't keep dogs overnight. They recommended we take the dog to Falls Church to a clinic so they can monitor the dog for 24 hours. They gave us an estimate for around $1000 It's DC! DH and I had my son/fiancé bring the dog closer to VW, so I can take care/watch of the dog after he gets released. My son goes to collage all day twice a week and his fiancé works in Annapolis all next week. No way, they can monitor him for the next few day's.

Today I will do P90X week 13. Our final week.

Sherry - congratulations to your daughter! That's amazing! Did you recover from that day/night? I hate anything that has to do with cold/sitting out site.

Couldn't do much today, except workout I guess, I was bored today: I did P90X3 Eccentric Lower = 30 min, TB circuit = 38 min and Booty Barre w/TM = 85 min. And this week is my recovery week from STS :eek:

I will try to check in later, if not I am already asleep, lol!

Supercuts today - and it's done! This is the last week of the 12 week rotation. So proud that I've actually done a rotation for this long.

Wish the cold would go away, but it looks like it isn't ready to leave yet. More soccer games schedule this week - we'll see if they happen - it's going to be very cold and snowy. It also means more processed food for meals since that leaves very little time for cooking. And the family is getting tired of chicken in the crock pot. I really need an Alice (Brady Bunch ref) to help keep the house together!

Heidi - Great wo line-up for today! I'll bet you were sweating buckets at the end! Do you look those up everyday?

Belinda - So sorry about the dog. Glad you had it moved closer to you so that it can get the care it needs. Nothing else to do today but wo? Great job on all of it! 30 minutes should be doable, right? Starting April 7th? I was trying to figure out if I could fit STS in the craziness. I've never done it all the way through.

Hello!

Yesterday was XT chest, back and shoulders. OOf! Felt that by the afternoon!

Today I did the standing portion of Turbo Barre. OMG! I only did 3# wts for this because my shoulders were already sore from yesterday.

My legs and glutes were complaining big time for sure! LOL! Felt the burn and my legs are wobbly. I know I will be sore tomorrow!

Belinda: OH NO! Silly dog! Argh and expensive! Sorry for the troubles....
LOL! What do you mean you couldn't do much... WOW! You did a lot! Nice job on your workouts! :)

Sherry: Nicely done on SuperCuts! Awesome job on closing in on your rotation! :) I am rotation challenged for sure! LOL!

As for the workouts: I am receiving them to my in box daily. Either from My Daily Workout.com Turbulence Training or from The Daily Hiit Challenge.com
I tend to pick a challenge and throw it into the mix with my regular rotation that I am following at the time.

Tomorrow I will be doing:
Turbo Barre floor work and then a run for my cardio day. I dislike LIS step! Too confusing for me to follow.

Good Evening!

Tonight I did 1 mile of sprints and stretched. Soccer game was cancelled due to the cold, wind, snow (not accumulating, but coming down hard enough at times to be bothersome).

Heidi - Bet those glutes and legs will be talking to you more tomorrow morning! Maybe the shoulders, too. ;) I'm thinking about adding a glute challenge to whatever rotation I do start next month. Leaning towards STS, but do I have the time to commit . . . But I know I need to continue to work on the glutes/hips to help my runs - still have the right side stronger than the left, though nowhere near as bad as before PT.

Belinda - Did you make today a rest day after the great wo's yesterday? How's the pup doing today? Resting at home?

Last night I did P90X3 Isometric. That's it! Ended up relaxing most of the day, watching a movie

Today is P90X3 Accelerator.

Sherry - just couldn't move yesterday:eek: My legs are so sore. Thanks for asking the pup is doing great. We took him for this last blood test yesterday. Everything looks fine. Nice job on your sprints yesterday.

Heidi - thank you! Dog is doing fine. So how are your legs after TB? I feel like I had a pinch in my booty yesterday:p Thanks for the links, I will check them out. I have so many dvd's that are still in shrink wrap, so little time. Keep up the good work!

Hi all!

Tonight was AOLIH, and it's done, plus a dog walk. Had to get in the cardio because managed to indulge in some delicious baked good - the real good stuff made from scratch.

Belinda - Great job on your wo's! Did the Barre work help work out the legs? Too funny about some still in shrink wrap. I don't have any unopened, but there are some I haven't done. Glad the pup is doing better.

Heidi - What were your plans today?

I have that AOLIH on tap for tomorrow. Yesterday was a run and the floor work from Turbo barre. Those abs are hard! Really felt the burn!

Today I did XT bi and tri burn sets. OOF! I am finding it hard to type. ;)

Hi all!

Changed things up a bit - dog walk, then sprints followed by StretchMax with the band - felt wonderful. Lots of running around tonight, so fit all that in between shuttle runs.

Belinda - Great job. Is this the last week of P90X3? I didn't bake, but was in a part of town that has a fabulous bakery - and easily persuaded my coworkers to stop by. Wonderful brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and fresh bread - all those sugary carbs that I shouldn't have, but since I'm not in that part of town often . . . hence the need to burn some carbs again tonight.

Heidi - Love that wo! Can also be hard to wash and dry the hair after that one. As for the eating . . . don't want to discuss that right now. ;) But the new issue of Clean Eating arrived - maybe I'll actually make some of the recipes this time around.

Just finished AfterBurn! Phew! I added in some jump rope between sets as well.

Sherry: Great job on your workout and stretch. :) Let me know what's good in that new magazine. Haven't subscribed yet....I just pulled out my Vegetarian Slow cooker book Maybe something new this weekend too.

Tomorrow I have a new bike workout to try out. :) Tabata Trek by Mindy Mylrea.
This is an intensity intervals program. 8 cycles of 20/10 on the bike then do floor strength tabatas same drill. You switch back and forth for a total of 8 rounds.
Going to be a fat blaster I am sure! ;)

Well off to the weekend drill of laundry and housework.

I finished the P90X3, 13 week Classic rotation:eek: I will take a week recovery from P90X3, than jump right into P90X3 Lean;)

Yesterday I just got my second order from CV!

Heidi - wtg, on AB yesterday. Fantastic job, girl! Thanks for asking about the dog, he is doing great. He is feisty as ever:D Hope you had fun with Tabata Trek by Mindy Mylrea. How did you like it?

Sherry - great job on your sprints and dog walk. Carbs are my problems too. I love bread. I am getting into baking bread. I bought a bread machine a year ago, just pulled it out:eek: I will start P90X3 in a week, are you in?
