Hallo girls,


I just took a live yoga class at the Gold Gym here in town:D I have a 7 day free pass, so I will make use of it this week:eek: Maybe I will sign up if I like it? It's only $20 a month, they offer spinning and Zumba glasses?

Sherry - lol, about complaining about the heat! I felt the same way the other day, getting hot again! How was the soccer game?

Heidi - what did you do today?

Hi all!

Today was a rest day, kind of forced by being too much involved in our kids' lives! After school was track and volleyball practice, but it's also night rehearsals for the theater performance upcoming this weekend. And being the parents that we are, of course we're on the committee. And now that I'm home, I'm finishing the v-ball photo collage that needs to get off to the printer tonight so that it's ready for the banquet on Thursday. So, I was supposed to start Gym Styles this week, but might just try to get my runs in and not stress the weights if they don't happen.

Of the 5 soccer games that DD played in over the weekend, I think they won 4 and tied 1, but really I wasn't watching it that closely. She played outstanding, as in the more she played the better she got. We definitely aren't doing that every weekend tho!

Belinda - Tell me how you like Zumba! I haven't tried that one yet. That's pretty cheap for a gym membership, so just might be worth it, especially if the classes don't cost more.

Heidi - Hope you're hanging in there.

No wo today either. Way too much stuff going on. Completely exhausted. Thinking neither of you got it done either.

2m run done - squeezed it in! Now off to theater rehearsal for the evening.

OI! Super busy this week with work!!! Sorry I haven't been able to check in with you both. :(

Monday: no w/0
tues: itread #25 as a walker
weds: no w/0

Today: I am doing a TM run and a really good band stretch!!! My calf is really bugging me!!! Not sure if it is from all the standing at work or just not stretching out enough after my leg workouts.

Belinda: Oh that gym membership sounds great and a lot of fun for you. :) Have a great spin w/o today! ;)

Sherry: Your days sound very hectic too! Nice job getting in your run though. How are your legs these days?

I have to agree with you both on the increase of the temps. Now that it is in the 80's here I am melthing! HAHA! I can't be satisfies I guess...either too cold or too hot. LOL!

The weekend was spent working in the yard. Monday work, tues painted my sons room and yesterday was a long work day again.

Well that is about my life so far this week. ;) I will run, stretch and then do yard work today if I don't have to go in to work.

Hi all!

Tonight's plan is to do GS CT, mostly because it is the shortest wo of the GS's and it won't get done until after the volleyball banquet, which itself will be after the last game. The weekend ahead is just as crazy, but I do see windows of opportunities to get my wo's in.

Eating hasn't been the best because we've been running so much but next week, that slows down. Would like to start focuing on healthier meals for all of us. Why is this the hardest part?

Belinda - enjoy the gym!

Heidi - hope the calf isn't anywhere as it was recently.

Will check back in late tonight after I get my chance to pump some iron.

Oh WOW! Belinda! Nice job on the spinning class and DOMS! :) Have fun with your workout today.

Sherry: I hear ya on the eating.....I have to get back to my own meals that are cooked and ready to go too. This always keeps me on track but it can get difficult with all the running around. Try cooking ahead on Sunday if you can. ;)

My calf is not as bad as before luckily! Just have to keep stretching it out.

I am feeling my legs just a tad today. I did SH legs and an interval run with a stretch yesterday. Today is going to be one of those days at work. Not sure what will get done in way of a workout.
Dishes are done and laundry is in washing. Time for a shower and out the door I go.

Good morning!

Belinda - I bet you are sore if your legs aren't accustomed to spinning. It will be fun to find out what other classes they offer.

Heidi - Yep, one of those days here, too. Will be lucky to get to the grocery store this weekend, much less actually cook.

So, no DOMS this morning, even though I had the shakes going. :( Need to squeeze in my run between being the shuttle service, but it's also theater performance night and DH & I are working backstage. As of Sunday night, we will actually be able to take a breath.

So no w/o yesterday for me and today I am just plain tired. Need More Coffee!

Work yesterday and came home to work in the yard for 3 hours. I guess I could call that a w/o. :)

What are your plans for today? :) I will do house chores and yard work before it rains.

Belinda: how are those legs doing today? What did you do yesterday at the gym? ;)

Sherry: it has been hectic at work these past couple weeks for me. I can't imagine trying to keep up with your schedule! :) I hope the play goes well. Sounds like fun to be able to participate too.

Good morning!

Making progress on wo's: squeezed in a 2 mile run last night, then did GS Legs this a.m., but worn out by the time we got to floor work, so just skipped all that. Think we've been on the go way too much. Heading out now to get DS from track practice, then off to DD's next theater performance, followed directly by a soccer game, then she has yet another one at 10:00 tonight. So we're still not slowing down. ;)

Heidi - I don't do coffee, but there are days when I do think that kick would get me rolling getter. Haven't had a chance to touch our yard yet. By the time we do, it will probably be taken over by weeks! :) Hope you get to take some time for you today!

Belinda - How was the gym? What are your plans today?

Deep breath in . . . then out . . . now off to the races. Have a good one!

Never got my workout in yesterday. Yesterday we saw my husband surgon in Boltimore, DH gets his suregery April 3 . After that we drove to DC to see the Cherry Blossom, gorgeous! glad we went,yesterday it's raining today.
 
I went to the gym and did CCPP! Tomorrow is yoga , zumba and spinning, lol! I am gonna be dead, lol! Maybe I only take 2 glasses?
Guess what DH and I did yesterday? We bought a Vitamix in Costco, lol! I am gonna try it this week and see if .

Sherry - how are your legs feeling? You did a run and a leg workout! Have fun at your DS games.

Heidi - yard work is a tough workout;) have fun with whatever you decited to do!

Can you girls blieve this? My abs and butt is still sore:eek:

Ok w/o done for today:

3.5 miles outdoors total

Jog walk 1.59 at a pace of 12mph

I feel a little better and clear headed now. ;) just needed some fresh air I guess.

Hi all!

Run done, but not a good one - 3 miles which included some hills. No DOMS from yesterday's wo until I started on those hills. But so good to get outside!

Hi Sherry! Great job getting outside for your run today. ! I hear ya on that one! I feel so much better now for it.

I have an app on my phone for couch to 5k training. This should help with getting back into running again outside. ;)
