Getting it done for August!!!

Sherry: Yesterday was a rest day for me. Yeah! Your son finished his project! ;) Have a great run today! I hope your weather is cooler too.

Belinda: Great job on your TTM workout! :)

Today was a 40 min cycle workout with Ab Hits #11 from PS-legs. Just right for me today. I have had a darn headache going on since Friday. Yesterday was really a bad day with it. Didn't get much of anything done.

Off to get a snack and probably do the same as Sherry with yard work. ;)

Morning girls,

Today I am starting week 4 of Cathe's Aug rotation, Iwill do Circuit Blast and ab.

Yesterday we went to a see a movie and afterwards we had dinner.

Heidi - good job with your workouts this weekend. I was so beat with all that high impact. I didn't help with the painting:D I am tired of painting. All I wanna do is relax:eek:

Sherry - good job getting your son's Eagle project done this weekend. We are done with paining DS's 2 bedrooms. I a few weeks we will start painting the kitchen. Can't wait. Did you got some yard work done this weekend? We didn't get anything done in the yard, it was raining all weekend long.

Today will be a busy one with getting my son up to the college. Later I hope to get in a cardio workout and abs. I still have to get into work too. ;)

Belinda: Have a great workout! Wow you did it on getting to the final week of the August rotation! :) You must be getting excited that the painting is coming to a close very soon. Don't worry about the yard not getting attention this weekend...we didn't either. LOL! When my son gets back from the college he said he would mow the lawn. We'll see..... ;)

Hi all!

Rest day today - my upper body was so stiff this morning! I did get in a run last night, but it wasn't the legs that were aching today. Feeling better tonight, and the front yard looks so much better, and there is still a lot more work to do.

I think I need to change things up a bit. If I keep with the HiiT cardio in the a.m., want to add more weight work in the evenings alternating with my runs. don't have anything definite in mind yet, but not STS yet, can't balance that while I'm training for the 1/2.

Heidi - Big day getting your son off to college! Did you get that cardio in?

Belinda - don't blame you on being tired of the painting. how'd today's wo go?

I didn't get in my cardio after all yesterday...just too exhausted after all the running around and work.

Sherry: I am with you on the DOMS! Oof that ab workout the other day got me good! Nice job on your workouts too!
What are your plans for today? Make it a good one!

My son had to go up to the college to sign up for some testing. He will take the tests over a 2 day period in Sept. After that he can go back to sign up for some courses etc.

It is raining here which is nice because it is somewhat cooler. Maybe a walk in-between the rain drops is in order. ;) I just need to get out of this office! I have been sitting here doing paperwork all morning. BLAH!

Not sure what else I will get done at this point. BBL for sure to report in.

Today is the first cross country meet, so my wo will be after that - we'll see what I squeeze in. Then traveling the next couple of days, so that's when I'll get in a good run.

Belinda - How are you liking the results from the August rotation?

Heidi - This is your last one to college, right? Empty nesters yet?

Karen - Getting ready for the fall? I'm sure you are busy.

Just finished AT! Phew! That was a great workout! :) Felt those firewalker moves for sure!

Sherry: Have a safe trip and happy running! :) Not an empty nester just yet. ;) My 2nd son is also doing college this year. He and my youngest son still live at home. :)

Belinda: No workout for me yesterday. I ended up meeting up with my Sis for lunch and then spent the evening with my Mom. ;)

Have a great workout with 40/20 and abs! :) Oh my internet was acting up as well. Not sure what that was all about. :/

I can't believe this month is almost over! EEK! Guess I should take a look at Cathe's next rotation for Sept. when it comes out. :) Maybe it will be leading up to the next series? ;)

Hey Belinda! Have a great one with AT! Loved that yesterday! Oh but I have DOMS in my hamstrings today. ;) Firewalker band got me good!

I will look at what Cathe has planned for Sept. then decide on my next rotation. ;)

I just finished Basic step for a warm-up to CYCLE MAX. LOL! I did 35min of cycle max and then stretched. Big sweaty workout for today! PHEW!

Belinda: Have fun with KM! My legs (hamstring area) are pretty tight still.

I finished my STS 25 C/B workout and then followed it up with a 2mile easy walk.

Sherry: How are things going with you? I hope you found some time to get in your runs while on the move.

Finally, today I was able to get in a wo - a run! The past few days have been exhausting.
