Getting it done for August 2014!

It's the end of the weekend!

Today's wo done - dog walk and Legs, but also several trips up and down the stairs for laundry, and a grocery store run, and some cleaning around the house and yard, too.

Heidi - Great circuit wo with a run on Friday! I'm sure you needed that rest day Saturday for the DOMS. How'd the XT CLB go today? I bet you'll be feeling that one in the morning! ;)

Belinda - Where was DH's surprise? Can't wait to hear all about it.

Hi Sherry: Great job on your leg workout and all the running around. :) Weekends are just that for me as well. Just so much to catch up on.
Has your Son headed off to college....I am sure this must be coming up soon. Hugs to you! I remember dropping off my DD the first day.

Ok so yesterday's plan for Cardio Leg Blast fell through. Just too dang tired. So late last night I did a 3.10 mile run instead using C25 and ifit. Now my ifit program is acting up...
Oh well at least I did something.

Today was an early to work day. Plan to drop off my car for the repairs but the garage put me off for another week.

Looking at WO now but I really just don't have the ambition to do anything.

Belinda: So what was the surprise? :) Looking forward to your pics and vacation update. Hope you both are having a great time and are safe.

Hey gals!

Didn't sleep well last night, so after all day at work, really didn't have the energy for more than a dog walk. But, I am sporting some nice DOMS in the tush. :)

Heidi - Looks like your on the same page I am. Tomorrow we will both be more motivated - deal?

I did something totally different today.

UFC Fit Power Punch. light weights with cardio mix. Great 45 min workout. Not overwhelming and was just what I needed to get moving again.

Sherry: What are your plans for today? I hope that you slept better and have energy to really kick butt today. Well then again your already sore there. LOL!

Good Evening!

Well, no wo today, and i could have used it. Started pouring rain right as i left work at rush hour - the pull the car over 'cause you can't see kind of pouring. Not complaining about how long it took to get home. Then, tonight we finally went shopping for DS's computer (read - he realized how soon he starts and OMG! he doesn't have one yet!) So, getting back with it tomorrow. In the meantime, my bum is still talking to me.

Heidi - Yep, did sleep better. Thanks. Your wo looks fun. Do you have the whole set? Have you tried all of them? DS leaves in a week, but I think I'm going to finish the P90X rotation, though I have been subbing running for the cardio.

LOL! You must have some great DOMS going on. :) Glad you slept well. I was awake at 3am and changed rooms....fell asleep until 7:30. A little groggy start this morning and almost blew off my workout but glad I didn't because it was fun and I am awake! :)

This morning was UFC Fit Cardio Cross Train. No weights involved just a lot of cardio moves. great workout and a sweat fest!

I only have the two workouts right now.... ;) I do like it so far.

I have a big day of work ahead....better get my butt moving.

Have a great workout later with P90X. :) Glad you are sticking with your rotation. You must be about through now.

Did half the program about 32min tops

Sore! Great ab and all over soreness from UFC workouts the past 2 days. Taking a break from them today. Tomorrow is Push Pull.

Hi all!

Last night had a CC parent meeting in the evening, and then a bit of shopping to do, so no wo. Kind of in denial that summer is almost over. But looking forward to getting everyone else on some kind of a schedule, 'cause that helps me fit in my wo's better.

Tonight is a run - nothing on the calendar for me and no rain in the forecast, so no excuses. Will ge tit done!

Heidi - Keep it up! You are on top on your wo's lately. isn't it great how just a little change really works the muscles so different? No DOMS anymore, so time to work them hard again.

Got it done! Dog walk and 2 mile run (run cut short by impending thunderstorm coming faster than I expected) and ExStretch.

Good morning,

I am home. We got back late last night. It feels good to be back. We had a lot of fun on vacation. I think, I will do SBF rotation for a month or two? I need a break from heavy lifting. I did see nice definition in my UB with Cathe's bodybuilding rotation, but nothing drastic. Maybe I been doing heavy lifting for too long? It's time to switch things up. Like I said, I will do SBF for a few month, her workouts are high reps. And see what happened :eek:

I will try to catch up on personals later. Good job, on your workouts girls. BBL!

What is SBF? Have a great day and workout when you get to it. Getting back from a long trip I am sure will need some time to get back in to things.

Ran 3.18 miles

That's it other than the usual weekend chores.

Sherry: Good luck to your kids this school year. yup it will be easier to get your own schedule under control knowing once things get under way with it all.

I did SBF UB & Core 3 = 30 min and Bring Sally Up Planks. My UB is fried.

Sherry - have fun with your laundry. I need to do a few loads tomorrow. Nice job on your walk and run today. I will try to post some pic tomorrow.

Heidi - SBF = Suzanne Bowen Fitness. I signed up to her streaming workouts a few month ago. I am done with Cathe's Bodybuilding rotation, now I have time to do her workouts.

I am getting ready to go to a BBQ next door and it's raining:roll eyes: Not sure, how long I will stay?

Today I did UFC fit Power Pull 45 min oi! Feeling my shoulders! This was weights w cardio and abs all over workout

Then a hike with my DH. ;)

Good Evening!

Leg day today, and wanted some Cathe so decided on Great Glutes. And a dog walk, too. Otherwise, stuff around the house, including getting college things together for DS. We shopped together ok today, but need to go out again to find a decent raincoat, one that can handle the long walks across campus not the quick dash from the car to a building. We're still discussing whether he needs an umbrella, too. Boys!

Belinda - Congrats on finishing the whole BB rotation. That took quite some dedication. I'll have to check out those wo's. If your UB was that fried, you could have used that as an excuse not to do laundry. ;)

Heidi - I'm sure that wo worked the muscles just a bit different, and that really adds up. a hike with your DH sounds nice.

We're just getting around to dinner - schedule is a bit off today. Hope you had a good one, and catch ya tomorrow.

Heidi - yeah, I am back into swing of things:eek: Good job on UFC fit Power Pull 45 min plus hike yesterday.

Sherry - thanks! I think I'll take a brake from very long rotations. Good job on your leg workout yesterday. Have you found a rain coat? I never finished my laundry yesterday:confused:

Good morning!

Yesterday - just a dog walk. Needed to finish some last minute shopping with DS.

Today - took the day off work to help DS pack. So, dog walk, 3.5 mile run and stretch already done. It's gonna be a hot one, and I wasn't out early enough to beat the heat, but much better than doing it tonight.

Belinda - Oooh, enjoy that stretch. Nope, didn't find a rain coat that he wanted. He'll manage for now. Just need to get it all together today because we move him in tomorrow.

Heidi - What are your plans today?

Gotta get going - lots to do today. Have a good one.
