Good morning,

Sorry for not checking in yesterday, we went to a Retirement Ceremony in DC. Stayed there until late afternoon. Had a great time catching up with old friends. Getting ready to do STS D30.

I will be back to catch up on personals.

Dog walk, L&B, ARX and dog walk all done! Now dinner and relaxing the rest of the night.

Belinda - Sounds like you had a nice visit with friends. Good job on D30. So, what wo stuff did you decide to take with you on the trip? I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Good morning! Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was a rest day - I gave blood, got my hair done, and enjoyed some Haagan-Das.

Today, took the dog for a walk, then went for a 3 mile run. Not a good run - it's already getting hot, and that combined with giving blood yesterday (not blaming the Haagan-Das) didn't make for a great run, but it was a run.

Laundry is already started. Need to get lots done around the house, but everyone has plans. Funny how I'm the one who is working everyday during the week, yet then also working around the house on my time off. Frustrating.

Belinda - hope you are enjoying your vacation, and still getting in STS.

Heidi - what are your plans?

Karen - How's GS going?

Hope you are all having a good one.

Yesterday ended up being a rest day - rain causing traffic issues on the way home from work, then had to run errands. Ugh!

Today made up for it - dog walk, 3.5 mile run, CST & ARX. Completely exhausted!

Ok started my August off wrong....car accident on Friday. Not injured luckily just shaken up.
No workouts since thurs until this tues.

Tues: GS chest only. OOF! Oh was shaking after! Have DOMS? yup!!!

Busy workout day yesterday so nothing again.

Headed to do Super Cuts now. Wish me luck!

Was watching the storms and all the flooding happening around different areas lately. Scary stuff with mudslides and home collapses etc. Be safe!

Super Cuts is DONE! I went light with 5#'s on beginning. Used my blue band and green fire-walker. Felt the burn and calories melt away. :)

Good morning!

Run done - 3.5 miles plus dog walk and ExStretch. Have today off, so starting it off right. Getting ready to head out of town for a long weekend for some fun.

Heidi - Oh no! Glad no one is hurt. I'm sure that did shake you up. Good to take a few days off. Embrace the DOMs now that you're back at it. How'd SC go?

Belinda - Hope you are having fun. Still getting in your wo's?

Oh my! I have had DOMS since tues! Yesterday I did SC and have lower body doms today. LOL!

Just finished ifit run mixed with C25 program. Alternated speeds from walking to running. Total miles: 1.92
Then did GS triceps. 30min. OOF! Barely made it and had to drop my weights at the end.

This weekend was a bust for anything other than house and yard stuff.

Hi all!

Made it back from Toronto late Sunday night. No official workouts for the weekend, but we sure walked a lot. I do mean a lot!

Yesterday it poured here. You may (or may not) have heard about the flooding in Detroit - which has closed sections of nearly every major highway and surface streets. We don't flood here, so very unusual. Anyway, was exhausted when I finally got home last night, then needed to go to the grocery store, so at the end of the day had no energy to workout.

Today, roads still closed due to flooding, and we are getting more rain. Drives to and from work both very long. All I want to do is relax. We'll see if I have the energy to even stretch later.

Heidi - Nice run and GS wo. Why don't you keep the GS going for legs, too? Or maybe a Plyo? I'll be hitting it again tomorrow. Nice that you are getting it in when you can.

Belinda and Karen - Hope you are both enjoying your vacations!
 
Hi Sherry! Welcome back home safe and sound! We are getting that rain today. YUCK!
I was watching the news and flooding is really bad in a lot of places that usually don't.

This morning I was so tired and also sore from GS. I just didn't have it in me today for a long workout. Did X10 Low Impact. Barely made it!
When it is dark and raining all I want to do is sleep. ;)

Hi all!

Did dog walks yesterday and today. Good news - all the highways are open again, so the daily commute has improved massively. Now that I have some time back, ready to get in gear tomorrow.

Heidi - you are doing great! I do believe the DOMs from GS. It is hard to be motivated with the way it's been raining. Cool, too, so do just want to cuddle under the covers when it's like that.

Hope Belinda and Karen are having fun.

Oh Sherry! That is great news I am sure! :) Well in some ways that is... LOL! What are your plans for today?

I am headed to do XT Burn sets for chest back and shoulders. DOMS are better so I am ready to get more. ;)
Will add in a short run as well.

I guess I am not doing as bad as I thought with my schedule this week. I got in at least 4 days of exercise so that is good. :)

Eating has to get better however... having trouble getting stuff cooked ahead lately. Plus not having my usual grocery store to go to doesn't help. Yup we are caught up in that argument for Market Basket. Now I am hearing that it might get bought out by another chain...I think that they are expensive to shop at as well. :(
Now the battle of price fixing for all grocery stores in my area begins.....ARGH!

Hallo ladies,

Remember me Sorry, for not checking in, in a week. We had no internet signal at the Arch of National Park and Yellowstone Park. NONE:roll eyes: Half the time we had no phone signal either We stayed in Yellowstone Park for 6 day's, at an RV park right in the middle of Yellowstone Park. I saw 3 Black bears, one crossed in front of me That was scary! I filmed it, but the film is to big to sent? If anyone knows how to sent a 9 min film, please let me know Saw Bisons on a daily bases. I will post pic as soon as I have better internet. Today we are at Mt. Rushmore and we also saw Crazy Horse. Very interesting We did had 2 tire blow outs on our dolly(the thing that pulls my car) before St. Louis. We were stranded on the highway for almost 6 hours last Sunday. The tow truck from St. Louis never showed up and the insurance couldn't get anyone on a Sunday to pick us up in the middle of nowhere:roll eyes: I did worked out on the highway, had nothing else to do. We had food and drinks We saw the Arch in St. Louis too. Tomorrow we are leaving South Dakota, we are on at AFB. Not sure, were we are going tomorrow? DH is surprising me, I guess I am done with STS. I been doing SBF on the road, it's working quit well. And yes, I am working out while DH is driving No heavy weight lifting. I will try to check up on personals once I have more time. We almost have 6000 miles on our belt so far, every night we don't get to an RV park before 10 pm. By the time we hook everything up and eat dinner it's almost 11 -12 am before we get to bed.

It's getting late here and I am tired from running around all day long. Looks like you all doing amazing with your workouts. I will try to check in again maybe tomorrow?

Heidi - So, got some more DOMS? You are doing great on your wo's. Give yourself a pat on the back. Not discussing eating . . . we'll save that conversation for another day.

Belinda - Sounds like a great trip. And, you are getting wo's in, too. Great job. Love that you are doing them while DH is driving - really! Don't worry about checking in - we'll be here when you get back.

Friday I did the Burn sets, Then Z kettlebell #9 which was as follows:
• 12 Back Lunge / Pass Under / Elbow Twists
• 12 Sit-Up w/ T-Extension
• 8 One-Leg Dead Lift w/ 10 Leg Lifts (alternating)
• 10 One-Arm Swings + 10 One-Arm Planks w/ Reach (each arm)

Topped it all off with a 2.03 mile run

Yup I have some DOMS all over. :)

Saturday I took a rest day. Not really a rest day but a catch up on house cleaning stuff and laundry. Busy all day and no naps.

Todays plan: XT cardio Leg blast.
