I will do Disc 4 this afternoon, I am still soo sore from this weekend. I also need to get a good stretch in today.

Today's a rest day, so I did TBS. Felt so good to get stretched out.

Plan for the week: Insanity rotation week 2 in the am, with running or weight training in the pm.


Belinda - Can't wait to hear about the RT! Sound like everyone had a blast!

Sherry: Oh great minds think alike...I did a stretch after my workout from that series too. Stretch #2 with the stability ball felt awesome!

Today was:
PS shoulder and triceps
runnervals 1.0 interval run
TBS #2 :)

BR: July 29th 2011
LEGS from something! Haven't quite figured out which series just yet. :) Maybe Pyramids?

So, I was taking a rest day today, but by the end of work today, realized that a couple of quick trips out of town later in the week will play havoc with my workout schedule. So, while DD was at soccer practice, I did a 3 mile run. Legs felt really heavy today, probably wanted that rest, but pushed it out anyway.

The guys do have some great stories to tell from their adventure. Something about someone else needing to be rescued from the coast guard because the waves kept pulling them out further into the lake and this guy just couldn't maneuver himself back towards shore. It does pay to be physically fit! I think they've finally recovered a bit after sleeping in their own beds and eating non-dehydrated food. However, the hose still looks like a small tornado hit.

As for workout plans, here's what I think I've come up with:

Mon: rest day - stretch or yoga
Tues: am - Insanity, pm - ez run (per 1/2 marathon training plan)
Wed: am - Insanity, pm - UB
Thurs: am - Insanity, pm - interval run
Fri: am - Insanity, pm - LB
Sat: am - Insanity, pm - ez run
Sun: am - Insanity, pm long run

This rotation is based on conditioning for the 1/2 marathon, and throwing in the intense cardio to offset the lack of distance that I'm at right now. It's an alternative to 2/day runs while still getting me conditioned. The weight work is to try to keep some of the gains I got while doing STS, though I can feel them fading.:(

Heidi - Do you have a planned schedule/rotation that you are trying to follow? Yours are getting as mish-moshy as Wendy's!

Belinda - I get the feeling that you are still exhausted from the RT. I really, really hope she does finally make it to Chicago next year. How were weights today? Were your muscles just too exhausted to push hard?

Allee - Thinking of you.

WO done - Insanity Cardio Power & Resistance. Legs now nice and loose; were rather stiff when I woke up.

I am following the BR rotation with Wendy and throwing in 1 body part workout after. ;)

Today was BR JULY 29TH AND PLB. LET ME JUST SAY THAT I AM TAKING A REST DAY MOST LIKELY TOMORROW! OMG! EEK! That was tough!

Belinda: You must be tired!!! Have you taken a rest day since you got back from the RT? :) Great job on your workout even though you didn't feel like doing it. ;)

Good morning!

Last night - shoudl have been UB but wrist was bothering me, so only did PH abs (but I did them, emphasis on I!).

This morning - Insanity Pure Cardio! 303 calories burned! Didn't do any of the push-up moves because didn't want to strain wrist.

Tonight - run on the schedule. I'm about halfway to Yuma on the Race Across America challenge. Every mile gets me closer!


Belinda - Great job on yesterday's wo. Are you still sore from the RT?

Heidi - Nice workout yesterday! Enjoy your rest today today if you take it!

No wo tomorrow. Up and out early for a one day trip for work. I'll try to enjoy it this time.

I will be rushing like today because I am headed to my sisters. We will spend the day together. :) she is finished with chemo and her hair has started to grow back finally. :)
